Read what you just quoted and understand what it means.  I bolded it to make it clearer for you.

Thank you that was helpful. I still don't see why you can't just screenshot the pms?

Because I don't have them.  Thus why I can't prove anything.

There's nothing to take to PMs.  PMs caused this problem to begin with.  It's where they hide knowing nobody can prove anything.  This discussion has to be out in the open.  There is no other way.  Once you guys decided to close the thread to discuss it in one place, this is what you're going to get.  My advice: reopen one place to discuss it.  It's not going away.  It's not just going to be forgotten, so you may as well just let it be dealt with until a resolution can be made.

Do you really expect me to believe that your pms to nu bono were just "hey, you're a good guy done wrong" or something to that affect?  Get real.

I KNOW what happened.  You KNOW what happened, but are choosing not to come clean.  You weren't alone in it.  Your little gang of bonolovers are all nowhere near as innocent as you claim.  You know it.  I know it.  Others here know it.

Dish the dirt or GTFO

I can't.  It's not my dirt to dish.  Stop reading it or STFU.

It is hypocrisy to be pro new GnR and against new STP though.  Years don't define a band; if they did, this band would be GnR, not the old band, but a large, large percentage of people will never recognize this band as GnR.  It's because of what they accomplished and the level they reached, not the number of years.

I don't consider either band to be the real thing.  I don't consider Van Hagar to be VH either.  Same with BS.  I think the only one I recognize is AC/DC and a) the singer died...he wasn't fired or didn't run off with the band name; and b) they were more popular (at least in the US) with their new singer than they ever were with there old one (thus relating to what they accomplished).

Is 18 GnR  songs (or officially released covers) pretty standard for a festival?  I know there are some time limitations, but that seems low to me.

It's not my story to tell...I wasn't involved in any of it, I just know what happened.

I question whether he has as much money as you think.  He's not in the poorhouse, but I'm not convinced he doesn't need to tour either.

Nobody cares about new music but the hardcores, and half of them don't care either.  I thought dream world would have ended when CD had the limited success it did and everything went back to same old same old right away, but some of you never learn.  Promoting it isn't going to help.  People knew CD came out.  It went to the $1.99 bin.
