i'm excited for cd but, witout complaining too much, i have to admit that i am a bit dissapointed in the tracklist.
after all this time and all of the broken promises i would release only the best songs from the cd sessions or release multiple discs to the people that stood by you through your bs.
instead they release pretty much everything we've heard, including songs they've even said wouldn't be on cd like riyadh and catcher.
i know everyone has their favorites but shacklers and riyadh are such average songs and yes, i have considered that maybe this is the best of the best but remember that we've heard other titles that have been raved about that we are not seeing here.
so as die hards that have stuck with gnr through this mess we have three new songs and no communication from the band through the entire thing.

i'd be fine with an already leaked song since i am going to buy the album anyways
as long as it is the best song possible in order to make this thing a success

the title prostitute could carry a heavy or soft song or both depending on experience of the artist (i.e. falling in love with one vs. getting an std from one) this is why people think it is song #2 becasue prostitute was described as fire and ice
lies they tell/scraped sounds dark and heavy to me, not like song #2 sounds

I really hope we get more new songs and songs are left off the album. They could always release songs on Itunes. I'm really interested in knowing what the first single is going to be. Hopefully it comes out of left field and blows shit up.
i think that will happen - better would certainly blow shit up - if they have a similar song to that expect to hear it soon. the younger people that are unaware need to hear the unmistakeable voice of axl rose and then maybe they will buy the album too
