Yea I only go to the strip when I absolutely have to.
I live near Summerlin. Everything I need is out here and Red Rock is only a few minutes away.
Vegas is a great place off the strip.
I'm just north of you in Painted Desert. We love it here.

You guys sure make it sound great. When I think of Vegas the only things that come to my mind are casinos, drugs, and escorts.
I go to the Strip once a month for a show, concert or food. (Although that's not true, we sneak off to Caesar's for their amazing brunch via groupon quite often) The rest of the time I'm either hiking at Mt. Charleston (alpine, bristle-cone pine trees-nothing like you'd imagine Vegas), Red Rocks, Lake Mead or taking car trips to nearby national parks. We also have fantastic local restaurants that are much better value than the Strip. The heat sucks for three months out of the year and the drivers scare me sometimes. But we like it a lot overall.
We have family in town (still) and are driving up to the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead today.

You are missing out!
If you are looking for something really close, check out Red Rock Canyon. Its where I hike all the time. Beautiful sandstone mountains and very colorful and unique.
If you have a couple days, definitely check out some of the sights up in Utah.. Zion, Bryce.
Beat me to it. I was just in Red Rock yesterday and we are going back to hike Friday. Looks awesome dusted with snow. It's only 35 or so depending on the traffic.
South Rim Grand Canyon is about 3.5 hours away. Valley of Fire is about 70 minutes north of Vegas, and pretty cool.
I'm going snow shoeing in Bryce, then head over to Brianhead to ski next month for my birthday. Vegas is a great location.

yea stub hub prices looks very inflated. hopefully some go down because I missed out and its in my own fucking city.
I'd wait a bit, especially for SH. They have bought up a SHIT TON of tickets. No way there is enough people out there willing to pay these prices. Just my opinion....

Same here. I was on hold for 10 minutes, then I got in...zero tickets. It showed GA was for sale too, just like the pre-sale, but it kept telling me nothing was available. After trying for a while, GA was crossed out. Unreal.
I also noticed GA was 100 more.

2 hours until the non pre-sale tickets go up? Really curious how fast these will sell.
I'm in the waiting room today longer than the other prior sales...still waiting.

Is there a reason to goto the presale site? Is that I different show? I just googled GnR Las Vegas & the T Mobile Venue site came up, and I just clicked on tickets, seems they're still available (I thinK?)
That's a secondary market, ie scalper
