I missed the 2010 Aussie tour, and I've yet to see DJ Ashba fuck up all of Robin and Slash's solos, so I'm looking forward to it...
In all seriousness though, pretty much what Monkey said above, (minus the having seen them in 1993 bit), and I'm glad I'll at least get to finally see Estranged played live, and if we're even luckier, maybe they'll bust out TWAT too!
We're grasping at straws when our arguments for attending yet another show is down to "I've never seen the latest member of the band" and "they didn't play Estranged the last time they were here"
All sounds like arguments a certain administrator would come up with to justify yet another leg of this seemingly never-ending tour.
Joking aside, if you're excited to go see them again, I'm happy for you! 
I'm taking a break from GNR until something I consider exciting happens.

Was there ever an official confirmation of this show's recording being released on home video, Blu-ray, 2D, 3D, etc.?

Well, not really a confirmation with a releasedate. But they did officially say they were taping the show in 3D.
In every other setting with any other band, when you give this kind of information straight to your fans, it means "buckle up bitches, something wicked your way comes!"

The band announced themselves that THE SHOW WOULD BE FILMED IN 3D.... why film in 3D if you have no plans to doing anything with it???

Seems like they want NOBODY promoting this thing just in case it all falls apart. Then they can always fall back on the good old excuse "well, WE never mentioned anything about a releasedate."
That fb-page was prolly shut down because I saw the guys producing it starting to post "coming real soon", or something like that. And you can't really blame them for thinking that. They are prolly used to that when they get hired to produce this kind of stuff and they know they are close to wrapping up the edeting, the ball starts rolling.

I see the positive in the whole thing but man, I gotta say this whole India run is really pissing me off to some extent.
I've always been a big defender of the "Axl goes on when he's ready thing" but it kills me how they've been done with the whole show by 10pm each night and now a show will occur in the afternoon because the LAW and the WEATHER says so.
Don't bother looking at your FANS as a reason to get on stage in every other country.
So very true!!!
All other excuses for late starts that causes fans to miss the public transportation are now and forever out the fuckin window!

I havent seen either of those movies but i just dont care for 3D in general myself
Well, as you prolly know, The Hobbit is playing all over the world at the moment! Shot in 48 fps and in true 3D (not some half assed post effect like most movies), it is a sight to behold!
Treat yourself, I doubt you'll be dissapointed!
