Axl gets a lot of slack for his vocal performance, but in reality that is out of his control. When he does sing good he still does it to perfection.
Slash on the other hand is all over the place. Sometimes brilliant, other times meh. His guitar playing on this track is lacking. Tone is weak, solo is uninspired. I have not heard a good solo from his since the VR days.

Axl Rose is last of the giants
The new tracks demonstrate this more than everOne of the best to ever do it and it's a shame that people waste time being bitter and critical on mygnr rather than enjoy what happens when slash Axl and duff get together.
Yeah. His reputation has become better in the last decade but still severely underrated by the public and intelligentsia.
COTR proves he can still do it in the studio. It's criminal they are not getting together to create new material. Call Izzy, how hard can it be to jam out some tunes. Axl doesn't even have to write the lyrics.

Still can't understand why this has never been released or even suggested to be. Like it's completely forgotten. One of the few "legit" CD songs in my opinion.

What I don’t get is why they don’t hire a social media person to hype/market this new stuff (songs) to casuals.
This is how you reach people today . It’s almost like they are stuck in the 20th century.
Not unbelievable that Axl still lives in a 90s bubble. Nobody to challenge him, nobody to teach him new things. Everybody just tip toeing while he continues to do the same things he did 30 years ago.

If the tour tanks they have to mix it up with a real album. No other way out of it. They can't wait 5-10 years for interest to pick back up.
