I think the problem is you assume they're getting stopped because of their skin color. Do you know that for certain. Because if you do, I'd like to see it proven.
I tend to agree with Polluxm on this...and you almost seem to as well. Profiling happens to everyone to some degree. If law enforcement is restricted from enforcement by all this hysteria, then let's just not have laws anymore like George Carlin said.
Can I ask you this? How many of these people are let go, detained or arrested in your neighborhood? Are most just walking away after complying? Is there a fuck you attitude?
I'm not a huge fan of the police. But I also see the need for enforcement.
Really dude? Cause ICE is stopping people that look like me and you and asking for documentation right? Let's call a spade a spade. Most immigrants on the street aren't white, especially the ones they are looking for. One tactic of ICE besides running plates is random stops. And who do you think this targets? Not criminals mostly but just hard working people trying to make a life. This is the difference I guess between us, I don't mind law abiding people who work hard and try to better their life. Some are in the process of being legal, some aren't. There should be a path and not just detain and deport members of community cause they can't get their numbers up going after actual criminals. No American should be stopped on the street and asked for papers just cause they are a shade dark or Asian or black or whatever the fuck.
I''ve seen people offer up documentation and they are still taken into a unmarked SUV. I've seen some agents let them on their way. Those who are taken, there's no reports, no agent saying hey this is where we are taking them. A man from my state ended up across the country and died in a detainement center. But that's okay right? Cause he didn't have the right papers? Life is worth less than?
Dont turn this into a we need police thing. Cause we do, but ICE is not a police force. By law they shouldn't be questioning or detaining any American citizen but here we are. No badge numbers, wearing masks, no names on the uniform. No fucking accountability. Dem or republican this shouldn't sit right with any American.

Nah, I don't see any reason to give one fuck about that. I get stopped at security checkpoints all the time because I'm a young white male. "Random check" they say. Yeah right, that must be some odds when they always pick me. If immigrants can't handle the same thing they can frankly piss off back where they came. If they caught me in some foreign country with no papers I would be in a ton of shit. Zero sympathy.
Cool story bro. But here in America we have brown citizens as well. They are being stopped for just being brown cause there's a quota to be made. I've been stopped in my youth by law numerous times. Had my share of problems too. Didn't make me think oh yeah fuck those guys who are getting stopped just for their appearance like I was. Crazy logic. Especially since these aren't check points which would warrant some checking. This is walking down the street for groceries. Fuck outta here with that mindset.

I side with constitution and people of this country. Not a news program or a political party. Country over party. You keep mentioning news programs. Im not watching them. Im watching first hand accounts being recorded. Im watching through my own eyes as ICE goes door to door in the neighborhood I grew up in, asking for papers. And i hate to sound like a democrat but people being stopped on the street for being brown. Not being left alone when telling agents they are citizens and providing ID. These are things i have witnessed in the flesh and not behind a screen. The total disregard for our own people on the street standing up for what they believe in and the rights the constitution grants them. Of course there are protesters who interfere and of course they are wrong. But at some point let's all open our eyes and see this for what it is.
Is it bias of me to want this countries federal employees to follow the laws and guidelines of their own handbook and of the constitution?
They cut the amount of time for training these guys, lowered the bar, cut out some physical conditioning tests. Loose background checks. Hand them a gun and free reign over our cities. Yeah way to go, America

I that's fair Pa but I think you're giving her the benefit of the doubt without giving it to ICE. People who are totally emotional and acting in vigilantly justice are not rational. They know nothing about who they're there to get or why. They just don't care.
Let's put this in the Trump context. He has been put through the ringer by these same people. Legally, professionally, and many other ways they did this. The hypocrisy is astounding. Now they're showing up in their mini vans and SUVs to bowl people over they don't like. Who is right if everybody's wrong?
The corruption and insane taxes blue states are charging their own people is highway robbery. Then what do they do? The commit massive fraud and now their corruption is exposed. Tim Walz is a fucking moron. He's not in control. He's simply complicit. Why would you trust someone like this to have control over anything? He doesn't. Neither does Brandon Johnson or Gavin Newsome. Neither does the new mayor of New York. Their solutions are non-existent. But their supporters are hyper vigilant. And they all fuel the fire. Federal tax money comes from us. The federal government distributes its. The states that are under attack break all the rules and I'm supposed to get upset by some sob story about a woman who thought she was going to do something about it by being an hysterical jackass? Stay home and stay out of it
She was just as much in the wrong as anyone. Did it need to escalate so quickly? Probably not. But giving her the benefit of the doubt while not giving ICE the same is not fair. Hysterical faces on MSNBC and CNN and FOX try to paint a narrative to keep you engaged. The View engages in the worst kind of hysteria. And why not? They're all disconnected billionaires.
Stay home and stay out of it? While US citizens are being detained and abused? And im not talking about the ones protesting. Stay home and stay out of it? As ICE goes door to door asking for papers? Stay home and stay out of it? As ICE operates with no restriction or accountability for violations of the rights of Americans? Stay home and stay out of it as families are being separated? Stay home and stay out of it as people die in detainment centers? Christ you're exactly the kind of American they want. Grow a spine. Whats wrong is wrong.

And now ICE agent just killed some woman in MN in cold blood today.
I do find it funny that these clowns are going to run another country when they can’t even run this country properly.
It will be pushed she tried to run over the agent, but the video I saw was she back out, cut the wheel like she was trying to get out of the way. But trigger happy gravy seals posing as ICE agents and we'll get this result. They shouldn't be there anyway. Weren't they supposed to be going after the worst of the worst? Not patrolling seemingly peaceful neighborhoods? Gas agents used on protesters. This isn't America man.

Is Chinese Whispers still accessible anywhere to read again?
It's where it's always been, right here. Under menu and Chinese whispers.

I'd wager about 99% of the content comes from CD Whispers.
My thoughts exactly.

Izzyjim wrote:I agree, a real old-school Slash sound solo
Old school? To my ears there is very little old school about either Axl or Slash. OMG vocals is probably the closest to old school Axl that we have gotten. Not surprising when he made an deliberate attempt to sing different to preserve his voice. Slash too has changed his entire style from the 90s. He's much more slick now, clean. Plodding. He never bends like he used to. His best Nightrain solo is still from 1992.
Good? That's subjective, but old school feels off base to me.
Slash sounds more "old school" especially around the 2.30 mark. Personally reminds me a little bit of Don't cry. A tad but it's there. The old school vibe is definitely there.

Man what a missed opportunity for a nice October release of Monsters. Clearly the better track of the batch.
