Since when does the gnr camp confirm anything. Hell the announcement of the Chinese Democracy release date was in magazines before it was on the band's site. And they don't need to confirm anything. It's already confirmed. The previous link to the store on the official site and the fact that it is in their source code is confirmation enough for a silent band like GNR.
i won't believe the "hype" until i get official confirmation from axl rose himself. i've yet to get that confirmation from him or anyone in his camp. until i do, those new artwork photos r as phony as ron thal

Want confirmation. THE EXACT SAME LINK WAS ON THE OFFICIAL SITE MONTHS AGO. IT'S NO LONGER ON THE SITE BUT IF YOU LOOK IN THE SOURCE CODE THE URL IS THERE. It's not a scam, if it was Guns N' Roses would get shitcanned by fans and press for associating themselves with it. I won't expect great customer support from the site or anything, after all it is Guns, but it is definetly not a fake-ass scam site.

Give me 2000 takes in the studio and I'll come up with a better solo than that. The fact that his studio work is passable has NOTHING to do with talent or ability. If you play a solo 2000 times you're going to get it to sound good at least once. Robin's live work is a true indicator of his 'talent' or lack thereof - and it ain't pretty. You can hear him fumbling for notes in the TIL solo - it's messy.
Buckethead on the other hand would only need ONE take in the studio, same goes for Ron and possibly Ashba.
I certainly hope we'll get to see what Ashba can do with the Chinese Democracy material on stage, but I fear that day will never come.
i challenge you to do that. record something. let's hear it. robin puts on the best studio work. the cd is the evidence. if you ever saw robin live, you would know robin tore it up on stage with gnr. did you see the hammerstein show? robin tore the mother down on TWAT. i'd like to see slash top that. on TIL, i don't hear any notes fumbled. what notes are you talking about? you gotta be kidding me. robin doesn't fumble a damn thing..but there was a time. a time when robin was the star in guns n' roses. a star he will be again when trent cancels his messy tour

"Wasted" by Beautiful Creatures is a great track. Good party tune. I heard it on the radio when it came out and liked it right away. I posted a link for the video earlier in this thread before it was hijacked in case anyone wants to check it out.
I'd love to hear what Axl, DJ, and co. could come up with.

robin left twice because axl fired him twice. axl is an ego-maniac. axl's got an agenda with media and public. axl's selfish. robin didn't want any part of axl's selfishness or his bitter agenda. axl didn't want giving robin the satisfaction of leaving with his head held high with dignity, so he fired robin. as for fortus, he's small time. fortus does very little on the album. in fact, robin's epic TIL solo among other epic solos robin does on the album, makes you ask the question in your mind "fortus who?"
