#191 Re: The Sunset Strip » Megadeth and Slayer Australian Tour Review » 865 weeks ago

I'd like to see Megadeth live sometime. It would be cool to see Dave Mustaine in real life.

I have seen Slayer live once and they didn't really impress me. I really enjoy Tom Araya as a person but that's about it.

Their music just isn't for me.

I still think Metallica kick ass, and I'm sure that's something we can both agree on.

Apparently it was written by the two in as early as 1983.

It was recorded by Michael Jackson in the early 90's.

The point is that Axl is solely credited to certain songs because he originally came up with them.

Simple as that. It should be common knowledge.

Axl Rose is a singer. In a band.

He doesn't write complete songs on his own.

These ASCAP statistics may call into question his actual skills as a songwriter.

How? Then we might as well doubt anyone's song writing abilities.

We know that songs that are solely credited to Axl had the lyrics and (at least) a basic structure written by him.

You can't write and play every single instrument yourself.

D is spot on. For once we agree.
