Someone on mygnr has finally called out the clipping on the bass drum throughout.

Thought I was the only one who heard it.

The appalling mix notwithstanding, this is just so amateurish as to be laughable. Right up there with the CD liner notes debacle for me.

Yes I didn't hear it the few first times when listening on the leak, but I blasted this and it is very noticeable. Shocking production.

I like the effects on Axl's voice, good choice. But I am noticing the production now. Something keeps popping high in the mix like little drum beats or whatever. I don't know if that's supposed to be there? Sounds really weird if it is. Sounds bad.

Probably Axl cut that chorus due to the woke ideology and the troubles the chorus could bring home Lol

Definitely.

Only thing I can't complain about in GN'R is the music (the little we get of it). For the most part I enjoy the songs, warts and all.

Considering the money involved, GN'R has to be the most amateurish organization in the whole world. Almost a billion dollar business and they are run like a low end kebab shop.

At least the song is good...

Someone posted a picture where Monsters was on the Japanese CD, but it does not appear so when I do a google search. Was that just a fake?

Monsters is on the Japanese version. I suppose that's why it leaked also.

Same with almost any artist really. They get rich, they get old and they have nothing left to say. Slash hasn't produced a lot of great riffs since 2005 either.

The only exception I can think of is Roger Waters. The fire is still strong in him.

They're acting like they're planning a surprise attack on the USSR. Not a fucking peep!
