As the old saying goes in this country, "your free... to an extent"
So THAT'S how it goes huh?

Are you serious?
GN'R isn't far off from being a nostalgia act, even with the rotating cast of members. Rather than going forward and releasing new music and playing new music, Axl is still relying on the past, and there's less and less CD songs in the set as the tour goes on.
Well in all fairness, all bands "rely on the past" simply because that's what most fans want to hear: Their hits.

No different than a Klan rally at the Million Man march. They're exercising their rights too. Both of 'em.
Actually that is different as the ENTIRE Klan has one consistent message. A fringe element of a religion is only one spoke on the wheel and rarely if ever advocated by the masses who adhere to Islamic dogma.

I'll keep that in mind the next time I find a property to lease for the local NAMBLA chapter, next to an Elementary school.
Something tells me at the least it'll be found in poor taste, if not perceived as a threat to safety.
That's a stretch, and what I meant by "Black and white." Islam does not equal Terrorism.
Then he should know better, and have better sense as to how NYC feels about that particular day.
No better than what? A Christian would not necessarily equate themselves with it's radical fringe element anymore than a Muslim would. Why should a Muslim who have "better sense" in this case? The intent is hardly malicious; he's an American exercising his rights.

The bands not well recieved because of the clumsy, ham fisted, uninterested way they have sold themselves. Theres been zero marketing of this band, zero efforts to properly introduce band members to the public, and so on and so on... ZzZzZzZz - I cant go on, its been said a million times
It's this simple. The rest is like worrying about the roof before you've even laid the foundation.

yes welcome...always good to see positive feedback on the band, sadly there isnt enough of it going around these days
and dont mind the locals....people are just grumpy these days
Well even the most ardent supports, people who have loitered around the boards for ten years, have become negative at this point. This is the worst I've ever seen it.

Ron is just a class act. I know I don't have to sell anyone here on that but just wanted to say it. Dude always handles things the way artists who appreciate their fans should.
So, who did he direct it to?
The venue or Axl?
People here will say Axl, but he wouldn't criticize the boss in public. He's talking about the venue not giving the audience any information about the delayed rigging of their stage. And I agree with him fully.
I'd say that was as close as anybody has gotten to criticizing their boss in public for some time now.
