well this has been the craziest most bizarre 24 hours in the GnR world in a long time... a couple of months at least..
No doubt about that, can't say it's boring. Although on the other hand much like the past, you can't say it's not disappointing either.

Really?? From Ron's Twitter just now:
OK, now someone's stirring up shit by spreading a personal email I wrote. I'll sum it up: don't leave a crowd waiting in the cold for 2 hours with no info, tell them something, give them something.
Shit happens, 'late' happens, I've been late before, not pointing fingers, this is about taking care of the *audience*. When an audience is at a point of hate, trying to hurt us, the crew, the gear, something isn't right. I'm hoping next time, I/we/someone will let the crowd know wussup and to hang tight.
Are you kidding me?? This dude is like the most fan friendly guy to ever grace this band. Why on Earth would someone start shit for him??
I hope he is not referring to me. I asked him what was going on and he told me. Then I emailed him back and asked if it was ok to post on the forum, and he said it was fine. I hope he doesn't think I took that and used it to start shit. That most certainly wasn't my intention.

Roses are red, violets are blue, I'm a schizophrenic and "hacked" my own twitter account.
The end.

Ron quitting was just speculation, but apparently he's put that rumor to rest saying that nobody has quit the band.
When this Rock N Rev show was announced some people were saying how important the show would be to the future of the band. I never could've imagined it would be THIS important. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but it didn't seem like the show went over that poorly. Aside from the late start and the setlist issues, it seemed like your average GNR gig to me.
I'd bet Axl just blew a fuse over something and tweeted that. Now everybody is trying to clean up the mess. Remember the tweet is the only thing we've seen. He may have told other people who make big decisions if was over too, in which case they need time to fix that.

his twitter wasn't hacked. bumble's confirmed the cancellation & said nobody has left the band.
edit - maybe not..
I just talked to Ron and this is what he said:
Give it 48 hours, hopefully whatever it is will get resolved. (No one quit the band or anything like that...)
Ron
Edit: Please don't bombard him with messages, this is the info.

Silly Axl, anybody could guess "jarmo" as your PW.
#2687 Re: Guns N' Roses » World Tour Cancelled? » 777 weeks ago
What an exciting time to be a GNR fan. Now we sit and wait for an explanation. How long will that take, you think? I'm sure Axl is prepping a press release as we speak. Right?
Ummm...half past never O'clock.
#2688 Re: Guns N' Roses » World Tour Cancelled? » 777 weeks ago
^LOL!
I notice jarmo has deleted the thread discussing this trifling matter.
What a surprise from the world's oldest virgin!
If Ron did indeed get 86'd, why must the tour stop? Surely they could play minus one guitar player or hire yet another?

Mabye he stewed and stewed and finally its erupted into a big arguement. Mabye he tried playing hardball and Axls responce was...
@axlrose
All upcoming Guns N' Roses dates are officially cancelled. Please contact your place of purchase for any refunds.
Lets take what is left of the fan base and completely obliterate it.
My guess...something with Ron. Any takers on this one?
#2690 Re: The Garden » Obama backs mosque near Ground Zero » 777 weeks ago
A terrorist attack, in the name of Islam, who killed over 3,000 Americans, has a mosque, three blocks from where it happened.
You don't feel in anyway that this is a spiteful play? At all?
Many of those Americans who died that day were also Muslim. The guy who owns the property has also been there for years.
The argument is too black and white anyway: Should we also conclude that all Catholics advocate and condone the molestation of children since so many priests have been found guilty of such crimes? Should we follow that logic and insist that no new churches be built within a mile of any elementary school?
