I find this all very interesting though, the circle, the paranoia, the "helpers" and "hangers on" during the UYI tour period and after. Interesting, sad at the same time, and pretty damn messed up.

I think I read Matt saying some stuff about her and how she was ripping Axl off with her bullshit, or something like that...

Thats the problem though with these types of situations, people thought she was ripping Axl off, which imo I bet she was, yet if you'd confronted her or Axl about it she'd probably claim you're the negative problem that is bringing Axl down, and it goes round in circles....

Scabbie was meant to be at this show, hopefully he'll post something up about it.

Ottosportman, a couple of pages back, noticed that the screens and backgrounds all seemed unique to TWAT, whereas before, covers and interludes had generic images and patterns etc running in the background.

His supposition was that this could mean that TWAT could be regular during this tour.

Of course, it could be that they have always had this ready for TWAT but never used it, and could easily not use it again......

None taken Russ, I am well aware of DJ running his mouth all the time.  Just thought I'd post it as for once there could be some truth in it.

I don't remember listening to the versions last time this was played live (if there are any out there), anyone able to comment on how they compare, this one and the previous live versions?

In this interview with DJ posted on B-mouth last night he said:

"We're working on a lot of new stuff, not only for the music but we have surprises on this tour and everyone is looking forward to getting out there and putting on a kick-ass rock 'n' roll show."

It'd be cool if there is more to come.

Thats an awesome vid. Ron did nail it, my fave solo off CD, all the killswitch / vibrato bits in there. It sounded great. So did Axl, awesome screams.

Very cool indeed. :-)

Props for noticing possible TWAT specific graphics, hopefully Scabbie will get TWAT at Nottingham, and it'll continue throughout the tour. It sounded fantastic in that clip. I'd love a soundboard of that.

I've actually had the snare drum track to it for a year now, but I'm holding on to it for tradesies.

Made me laugh!  yikes

these setlists are a symptom of the stasis that has corrupted not only this period but the entire legacy. what's going on w/the live shows, the predictability is not true to what made Guns N Roses great or unique.

I totally agree with that statement. If I didn't know what to expect, I'd be all the more willing to fork out for a show this time round, but as I am 99.9% sure it would be pretty much what I have already seen before several times I wont.

Not everyone is the same, my wife probably wouldn't care or remember that it was the same show she saw in 06, she'd enjoy it regardless, its just a good night out for her.

I just hope I am eating my words when they do the UK shows, pull out something cool, and have me wishing I'd got off my ass and bought a ticket. That's what I'd like to see.
