I think you've been here long enough to know that's not how we treat people here. You're intelligent enough to make your points without having to use gutter tactics.

It's not a gutter tactic to tell someone what you really think of them. Why don't you come off your pedestal and go back and read what Randall Flagg wrote. He called teachers such things as "sons of bitches", "pieces of shit", and "wastes of time and space". If you're going to summarize an entire work force like that, you should probably think about the fact that someone involved in that line of work could read those ignorant opinions.

What I'm trying to say is that by telling Randall Flagg what I thought of him, I was saying nothing worse than what he said about teachers.

I'll give you a tip on being an effective mod: Don't call someone out on something, but not someone else who did the same thing. And don't ever fucking talk down to me.

And Axlin08, I usually agree with you, but your statement is just as fucking uninformed as Randall Flaggs. You don't become a teacher in 3 years without going to school in the summer as you said. A lot of schools are now only hiring teachers with certain endorsements and minors. A teaching degree is not just some easy piece of paper to get. It's actually a Bachelor of Science degree with a teaching endorsement. And you can't just breeze through it. A 'C' is a failing grade in a teaching curriculum.

To this day I still think teacher's are the most pompous, overrated, sanctomonius sons of bitches on the earth.  All this talk about being underpaid, shit, those piece of shit work 9 months a fucking year and work 7 hour days.  It's not like they have a real fucking job anyway.  They get their lesson plans fucking handed to them.  All they do is say read chapter 5 and then sit on their ass for the next 45 minutes.  FUcking waste of time and space.  The most audacious aspect of the american education system is guidance counselors.  GUIDANCE COUNSELORS?!  are you fucking kidding me?  These are fucks who left high school for 4 years to go party and fuck away from mom and dad at state U and return to their alma mater large and in charge.  What fucking world experience and advice do these dipshits have to give the youth of ameirca.  Not one fucking thing.  God damn that aggitates me.

Well, let me just say that you are a fucking idiot. My fiance's a teacher, and let me tell you, it's hard work. They don't put in 7 hours a day. My fiance goes to work at 7 am and doesn't get home till about 6. She does a lot of work at home too. They are underpaid for what they have to deal with. They don't get handed their lesson plans, and they have to put up with kids that are pretty shitty like I'm sure you were in school. Don't get your fucking panties in a bunch because you obviously didn't learn shit in school. Go back and check your spelling and grammar you stupid fucking cocksucker.

We should have an icon for when we receive a new PM. I just looked in my inbox and I had a message from 2 weeks ago I never knew I had.

#285 Re: The Garden » Christmas Celebrations! » 915 weeks ago

Well... I rolled back into town at about 3:30 this morning from Illinois. I got up at 10 to head down to my Mom's house. We did our thing, then I went and visited my Grandparents for a little bit because my Grandpa's so sick from his chemo that they weren't going to go to the family Christmas at my Aunt's house. I ran home from there to get showered up, then headed to my Aunt's. Somehow while I was playing Wii sports with my Uncles, my fiance got hammered. That's all good and fine, God knows it's happened the other way around quite a bit. Well... we got home and she proceeded to go fucking crazy on me for God knows what... causing me to miss 'The Spirit', which I was going to see with my friends. Now I'm sitting on the internet bored while she sleeps on the couch.

Another favorite aspects of Ledger's Joker is the sort of bi-polar mood swings he gave the character. He has this calm, well though out air about him, but he'll briefly get really pissed... then go back to calm. A perfect example: When Gotham news is airing his video of the fake Batman encounter and he just freaks out with that "LOOK.. AT.. ME", then goes right back to calm. His yell is fucking scary!

Also, the James Hetfield "ahh" he puts on the end of certain s's. ie. "Chaos-ahh", and "Serious-ahh".

Ok cool. It's not hard to get into the story. I started at the top of the 3rd season and caught on immediately. The only thing I didn't know about was 'the code' and why his Dad was terrible. I just wanted to know a little backstory too.
