#301 Re: Guns N' Roses » Baz now claims 4 GNR albums exist » 932 weeks ago
I personally believe that Axl has a ton of material, so enough songs to fill 4 albums sounds about right.
But of course, none of this means anything until we, the fans, get to hear it.

I sort of miss the old style "Show unread posts since last visit" and "Show new replies to your posts" ala HTGTH and the original ROV site. That may just have to do with a different forum engine thing, but it was nice to have.
Also, is there a auto login or saved login? Sometimes it's annoying to have to sign in everytime. Maybe I'm just missing the box to check for "remember me"
There's a couple of other things, but that's all I can remember for now.
Btw when's the new name coming? Is that gonna be a group vote? Or are mods deciding?
It logs me in automatically whenever I come. In fact, I was gonna log off to check this out for you, but IE wouldn't even let me leave!
But I did find this: Click on Profile and then click Privacy in the menu on the left. In the middle of the page there should be an option to "Save username and password between visits." If you check that, it should log you on automatically whenever you come to the site.

Seriously though, awesome thread title, LLL!
Thanks and post away, I don't recall ever seeing you!
Post in here? Yeah, right. I know when I'm beaten.
Tony Soprano, DTJ? I had no idea he was considered hot. There may be hope for me yet. Where's Antonio Banderas? Nobody into the latin types?
Despite the girl/guy member ratio, this thread is getting more posts than the girlie thread. I think we've got a bunch of horny ladies in our midst, boys!

yeah i fail to see how this is any form of offence. Is masturbation illegal now?
I sure as hell hope not. Otherwise I'm a repeat, serial offender.

Come on one is getting #2
Toga, Toga, Toga
with that hint, it's gotta be Animal House. Though I haven't seen that in years.

#308 Re: Guns N' Roses » Bumblefoot Chat 8pm Eastern US Time Tonight Wednesday 10/24 » 933 weeks ago
Yeah, as a GNR fan, it's a little frustrating to not be able to ask certain things. But, BBF himself put it well saying that it's not his place to give updates and news. He is also very respectful of others and their individual privacy, which I totally understand.
That stuff aside, the chat was a blast. I came into it an hour late because of time differences, but there was lots of interesting stuff about music and the tour, and also alot of joking around and just hanging out.
Personally, I think it's awesome that he takes the time to come chat with us fans and thank him for it.

That's interesting and probably mostly true, but I find I'm actually the opposite online. In real life, I'm usually relaxed and mostly confident (depends alot on the group and maybe moreso on the atmosphere), but online I tend to be very self-conscious about what I say. Sometimes I'll re-write a post 2 or 3 times before I actually commit to submitting it and even then I'll often go back and change or add something.
All I can figure is that it's because it's in print, posted on a message board, and more long lasting than words in a conversation. I guess I feel that words on a message board are more susceptible to being analyzed and torn apart too.
