D's band is looking strong.

He's probably got a pretty big overhead, but I doubt it's as much as Elvis'. Either way he can always do another tour so it shouldn't be a "problem" per se.

That's no excuse to not put out an album though. What does he think is going to happen? That touring in SA and Europe is suddenly gonna lift his status enough for the record company to give him a better deal?

It's a safe cash cow, but the only thing that can raise his value at this point is to release good music so that people stop seeing him as just a wash up.

A father with Parkinson’s disease was arrested as he watched the Olympic cycling road race because he ‘failed to smile or look like he was enjoying himself’.

Mark Worsfold, a martial arts trainer and former soldier, claims that he  was thrown to the floor and handcuffed just as cyclists passed by.

His worried wife Nicola only found out he was being held after she reported him missing when he did not turn up for their daughter’s ninth birthday party.

Maybe because that's where he's undisputed boss. Duff and Matt might not bend over as easily.

For me they'd probably be #1, but those 3 are so far ahead of the rest of the contenders I'd say it's a toss up who gets what. Living legends. To think GN'R could have been up there had they kept it together sad

Not condoning heroin use, but when administered in clean, set doses it's a pretty harmless drug (for the physical body). When you buy it on the street you never know how strong it is, possibly leading to ODs.

Ironically you can get prescriptions for heroin derivatives, but being a junkie is not a good enough reason to get them. Apart from helping people quit there should at least be a clean, cheap alternative for those unfortunate enough to be in that situation. Jail is both morally wrong and extremely expensive.

Cobain is certainly one of the greatest songwriters in terms of melodies, but his lyrics are nothing special. Axl is (or was) way more talented in that department.

Let's face it, like Morrisson he enjoys the benefits of an early death. Imagine Axl dying in the early 90s. He'd be huge.
