The point is lumping everybody together in one group...would you be OK if I (or anybody else) lumped you in with the rotten apples in your bunch?

If all veterans approved and supported a stupid ideology and narrative that was demonstrably false then yes.  If all violent riots and protests in the past few years exclusively included veterans then yes.

Your argument is paramount to not all KKK members (all 6k world wide, big threat!) participate in violence or threats, so it's wrong to lump all KKK members into one group.

I'm not saying all BLM advocates kidnap and torture people. Just that the overwhelming majority support violent protest. Since this behavior is not only mainstream but celebrated (Sanders campaign manager said yesterday this wasn't a hate crime because the 4 criminals hated Trump!) in many circles, it's no surprise that young impressionable people are doing heinous things under the false notion of righteousness. The system is unfair and I'm not responsible for my situation in life, so that empowers me to act outside the law.

So now that they've been charged with hate crimes, let me again go on record and call hate crimes stupid. They kidnapped and tortured someone. We don't need an additional crime because the thought police deem this reason wronger than others. The jury and judge can evaluate the circumstances and issue a sentence on the crimes alone.

I'm in an er with my sister waiting forever for an MRI scan and I'm really not getting too deep into this other than there's a difference between the protestors and rioters. The people who had legit concerns and issues and did everything right should not be lumped in with criminals.

hope everything is ok

You can't look it up?

I know the answer. The officer who shot the man high on PCP was charged with murder. The cop who shot the care giver was suspended and the police say he missed his target, which was the autistic kid. I'm not defending either action, but I could give a fuck that the caregiver said his patient was harmless. The guy who was shot with a firearm while his wife was recording (which led to those violent riots and looting) told the police he was unarmed too, but we know she was full of shit and aware he was armed.

All the riots and protests have been spearheaded by BLM and in every single instance of a riot, the cause was deemed to be justified in a court of law.

If I were the caregiver I'd sue the shit out of them cause negligence isn't an excuse.

Get a history book? We don't blame the entire white race for the acts of animals who murdered people in the name of the white race, do we?

Because you hate a group you're immediately blaming them for a horrific crime that has zero connection to? Okay. No, I don't think BLM is instigating anything, because violence at protests was happening way before it was created. Before that it was the stupid anarchist movement which is mainly made up of privlaged white kids. I have a serious problem of shifting individual responsibility to a group you disagree with because it's convenient for your argument. Like people blaming video games for every crime a gamer committed, because they hate video games.

Like in any protest its going to attract assholes who are looking to take advantage of the situation. There were many more non violent protests. As Trump himself said, when you're following orders, with your hands up, you shouldn't be shot. When you are sitting on the ground with your hands on your head, trying g to protect an autistic individual, you should not be shot, etc. etc.

Who had their hands up and was shot?

You said they have been taught to feel like victims and not to have responsibilities for their own actions. That was you. That was stereotyping. And acting like they're doing this on some wide scale. They don't seem to know any better, as you're alluding. Did BLM attack that man? Did they send out orders? Or did a group of animals do something horrific like the thousands upon thousands of lynchings across the south?

Thousands upon thousands?  Any evidence for that?

And yes, when I hear people saying fuck Trump and fuck whitey, especially in Chicago, I associate them with the moronic black lives matter movement. Cause if you're worried about the value of black lives, the last place you'd focus on are police shootings. Since Chicago had more murders last year than LA and NYC combined and almost all of them were black, I'd say gang violence among black males is the first place to look at to resolve the issue. When one party not only tolerates but embraces the false narrative of BLM, you bet your ass I'm going to blame that ideology and narrative.

Or do you think this current climate in no way contributed to the actions of these 4 people?  You guys were saying Palin sharing an image with targets over vulnerable congressional seats incited mass shootings.  But I guess BLM is free from this accusation or thought process.

I don't think I'm a victim.  I think I've been dealt bad hands and been treated unfairly at random moments in my life like every other human being.  I've never gone hungry or lacked shelter a day in my life, like 99% of Americans.  I don't believe you can make sweeping generalizations about a person based on their skin color.  I don't automatically assume someone has it good or bad based on their skin color.  You and others do apparently.

I'm not condemning any race.  Just Black Lives Matter which is a complete fucking farce that has undoubtedly made things many times worse for all people.

What is your point? A group of scumbags commit a crime and that negates the message of a segment of people who are tired of being shot by police?

My wife deals with lying ass Vets trying to scam the system almost everyday for a monthly check. Does that also mean you'll be looking for a way to game the system as well? Can we lump you all together?

Are we still pretending that BLM is a legitimate organization with a valid argument?  Are they not front and center every time some riot and looting breaks out?  Would they not be burning down Chicago as we speak if the roles were reversed?

The last time veterans rioted was after WW1. So I don't get the comparison at all.

My point is in the article. Hate crimes committed by Trump supporters after the election are non existent. But by telling a group of people for the past 70 years that they're perpetual victims and not responsible for their actions, you create an environment where young people think this shit is acceptable.

Total white guy nonsense.

And there it is.  If I typed "total black guy" nonsense, you'd all be calling be Jeff Sessions or Bannon.  I don't accept that the color of your skin affects your circumstances or ability to have an opinion in 2017.  But if you want to go down that road and claim that some stereotypical experience enlightens one, don't say another word about war or policy in the middle east since you've never been there.  I have a hunch your logic won't apply in that case.

Reading comprehension is hard. I wasn't aware this happened after Trump was elected. The fucker's going to get the chair. Congrats on the one hate crime in 30 years. I mean, you quoted me ffs.
