I'm a little surprised also. I expected a mediocre reaction to this song. Don't get me wrong, I think it's one of the best songs off the album. I'm just surprised that it's doing well. I figured no one would give it a fair chance considering the drama and baggage that came with this album. Most of the negative reviews I've read never tell you why they don't like the song, just why they hate Axl Rose.

It appears that there is a skip free version of "Scraped" on you tube.
Edit: A skip free "Sorry is now on you tube.
Both versions are pretty low quality though.

You should have waited and listened to the chorus. The chorus and soothing Bucket solo might change your reaction.

I emailed my local rock station. It's not a classic rock station either. I asked them if they would be playing the new single from the new Guns N' Roses album Chinese Democracy. They emailed me back saying it would hopefully be played after 10 a.m.

i am just sick of hearing a supposed inside scoop that there will be a major announcment on this date or by this date and it doesn't happen. it's happened 3 times in the past three weeks. not here til now. this will be the fourth if it doesn't happen tomorrow.
we have all weathered the bs rumors over the years but now that we are clearly in the final hour everybody's antennas are up and people like me lose precious sleep when bullshitters lie and supposed insiders prematturely let the perverbial cat out of the bag in their final attempt at prophetic glory

Compared to the number of GN'R tracks per year I'm used to getting, three new tracks suits me just fine.
