Of course it's a slippery slope and one that isn't feasible.  But can we please stop the attack on the intelligence of people who voted differently than you?  A lot of stupid fucking people exist in either party.  Feel free to youtube "dumb X voter" if you have any doubts.

But maybe instead of yelling "shame" on the house floor because someone didn't agree to legalize fantasy for the mentally ill, we yell "shame" at people who have kids while on public assistance instead of treating them as tough and heroes.

But a baby to me has nothing to do about rights for the mother but rights for the innocent baby.

But once that baby is born...fuck that kid...he's on his own. He needs to pull himself up by his own boot straps!

I don't agree with Smoking Guns. But what are you willing to do to people who have children they can't afford or are ill prepared to raise?  Food stamps doesn't help when there's 6 kids living in a 2 bedroom apartment cause mommy doesn't want to work and likes the attention from men.

No you've lowered yourself....

You will not criticize Drumpf now matter what he does....being a fanboy does nothing...

I didn't vote for the guy. I stated on the forum I was concerned he'd be played for a fool by Putin. That's what drives me nuts. You guys come in here and scream because some cunt from Mother Jones said Bannon acknowledged that Breitbard has become a source for "alt right."  Nothing Bannon said or did, mind you. But the presumptive head of the Democratic Party is going to be an antisemite and black power racist and none of you say a peep. I mean, come on!

I'm not trying to pick a fight with you or anyone else. The point has been made.

But Trump hasn't even been sworn in yet and some of you are acting like it's 1929. A lot of dumb shit happened this week that haven't been appropriate to discuss.

#1 Ohio passing its retarded heart beat bill.
#2 Trump being an asshole bickering like a fucking millennial on Twitter with Baldwin.
#3 Trump taking credit for shit he had no involvement in

I'm just saying you guys set the bar pretty low when Obama got a fucking Noble Prize before being sworn in. Even he knew it was a farce and refused to participate.

I'll be the first to criticize Trump when he backtracks or fucks up. But if he ends anchor babies the day after he's inaugurated or refuses to admit refugees, I don't disagree with it so why would I bitch?

Trump hasn't been sworn in yet. Why don't you wait till he and his congress actually pass their first law.

And for the millionth time, the republicans didn't gain control of congress until 2014 when they took the senate. Repeating something that is wrong indefinitely doesn't make it true. The Democratic Party is still the party of the KKK and Jim Crow no matter how many times you put your fingers in your ear and shake your head no.

You guys had your chance. The constitution is all that matters. Suck it up buttercup. It's going to be an awesome ride. axl

I don't like Ellison. I have no reason to be up in arms about him, he's not the President's chief adviser, either. He wants to be DNC chair... I don't think he'll get it, but its nowhere near the same.

Right, the leader of the Democratic Party, who sets policy and coordinates campaigns and fund raising is nothing similar to Bannon who holds no official power or responsibility. The mental gymnastics you guys pull is astounding.  I honestly have to wonder if you're not trolling. Whatever it takes to believe you have a shred of intellectual objectivity and honesty.

At work, so sorta can't.

As to your question about which cabinet picks I have a problem with??  Well let's see (quickly):

Billionaire 2 failed Senate attempt friend for Small Business Association haha
Fast Food Industry (notorious for LOW wages & ZERO middle class agenda) Billionaire for Labor Secretary
Person who SUED THE EPA as EPA Chief
The fact an ExXon CEO is being even considering for Secretary of State is frightening?!

I could go on, but these are the more laughable ones without coming off as uber-liberal or with an agenda. They're just terrible.

I don't think failed attempts at politics should stop someone. Biden failed at being elected President twice, yet was a fine Vice President.  But agree she is an unusual pick. That being said, I don't know what the fuck the small business secretary really does or what real impact she'll have on the economy.

The EPA has over stepped its bounds. A species of owl that are so stupid they can only survive in a hole in a special spot in Nevada, aren't important enough to halt construction of projects that will benefit millions of people.  Solar and wind aren't realistic alternatives to coal, oil and nuclear. Cut taxes to encourage alternative energies, but we shouldn't penalize energy sources that are proven to work because some celebrity believes it gave their child asthma 800 miles away. There's nothing wrong with improving technology and ensuring people aren't dying due to toxic waste being dumped in rivers. But at some point you have to accept risk. Open up off shore drilling and improve the oversight.

People were laughing that Trump said repeal 2 regulations for every new one. I think it's genius. He's not saying remove previous laws to create new ones. He's saying if something is so wrong it needs new regulation, we can look at existing regulations, clean them up and consolidate them into one rather than just patching endless regulations that are a minefield to navigate.

I don't think he'll be nominating the head of Exxon to be the State Secretary, but why is that inherently bad?  Why is a one term senator from New York an amazing pick or the life long senator from Massachusetts who married into the Heinz family?  I'm expecting Romney to get it, but would love to see Petraeus. Maybe the CEO of Exxon would be better suited for energy rather than some academic or life long lobbyist who mocks the miners and oil workers behind closed doors.

http://www.cnn.com/2016/12/01/politics/ … -of-islam/

Read that and tell me how this guy is less of a "racist" than Bannon.  The article has a quote where Ellison is defending the claims that Jews were in on WW2.  This isn't a claim of calling someone of color "boy."  This is actual evidence of Ellison being involved in the holocaust denial and supporting some of the most radical people in the country.  And this is your future leader if you align with the Democratic party.  Yet not a single peep.

Now this parts just too far.  His cabinet is becoming silly & there's talk he'll appoint Exxon CEO to Secretary of State?!  I could go on, but I'll wait for that NOT to happen so I don't get worked up over a news story. It's being reporting on legitimate sources tho.

Why is it silly?  How is some Harvard Economist who has never set foot in the workforce more capable than a CEO of a billion dollar company?  Silly to me is putting in academics who haven't left their classroom in 30 years.  Which nominations do you have a problem with?  And what scrutiny did you apply to Obama's nominations?  It's no secret Obama's first 2 years were an absolute horror internally because they loaded the cabinet with idealistic "intellectuals" who had no experience in the same world you and I walk in every day.  They thought they were going to accomplish all the hope and change Obama promised and hit the brick wall once they realized accomplishing something requires more than loud protests and blaming others.  It requires actual work.  His current administration is perfectly fine, even if I don't agree with their policies.  Trump is doing the opposite and putting people in positions based on their decades of actual experience in the field.

Meanwhile the DNC is about to nominate a blatant racist who has openly praised the Nation of Islam and Farakhan to its chairmanship.  No claims from reporters from a suspect source without any actual evidence.  You can google this guy and find clips where he's praised people who openly advocate racial superiority.  Not a single person on this board has commented, but how many fucking pages did we have on Bannon just because some idiot from MotherJones claims Bannon admitted he attracted the Alt Right.

So with Farakhan calling white people the devil and advocating for a black state, I'm a hell of a lot more concerned with the direction of the Democratic establishment.  The saddest part is the party isn't aware it's tying its own noose keeping Pelosi and nominating a Black Power advocate to its highest positions.  Wait till the Zionists unload on this guy.
