This album is one of the worst piles of shit I have heard in a long time if not the worst. Metallica should hang it up and save their legacy.

There comes a time when washed-up bands and artists should stop recording just because they can, does n`t mean they should. Shitallica is a prime example.

Just out of curiosity, what is your favorite metallica album and have you ever gone to a live show.  The reviews I have heard say the opposite of what you're saying.  My vinyl shows up tomorrow, so I am waiting to roll one and listen to it.  I like 2/3 songs they released before this week.  So I'm hoping I enjoy the rest tomorrow.

62.5% of the representation goes to what 49% of the state voted for. Why that doesn't bother you boggles my fucking mind.

Who drew the districts?  There's no way you'll have a perfect district and people 100 miles away shouldn't be in the same district as people in Madison or Milwaukee to leverage city voters pull either.  Census is in 4 years, you'll have a chance to change it then.

Yes...I understand that there is no perfectly drawn district....but a few very important parts of the state are disproportionately affected by these voter ID rules....students in Madison and minorities of Milwaukee. Thats worth noting.

I believe there was a fight about what constitutes as a voter ID. Student IDs don't count - they used to.

In addition, there was a big fight about closing down DMVs. There are almost no DMVs in Milwaukee proper. Scott Walker shut them down.

No longer are their polling places on campus either.

This seems pretty concerted to me RF.  Tell me what you think.

In a state where a few thousand votes matter...this seems important to consider.

My only issue with Student IDs is that they don't mean anything.  There is no standard of evidence to issue them, and we know some colleges would have no problem issuing an ID to someone here illegally.  I went to a rather large public university and no one asked for my birth certificate or other info when I was issued my college ID.  Furthermore, my ID didn't have any personal information on it other than my name and student ID.  No DOB or other information.

If states are going to require ID, they need to be willing to offer free IDs and provide reasonable accommodation to get them issued.  A minimum of a year time to get an ID should be available.  But if someone waits 3 weeks before the election to register/get ID and then complains it's too far away, we should ask what they were doing the other 49 weeks of the year.  Personal responsibility is still a thing.

Voting shouldn't be difficult.  But that doesn't mean the state has an obligation to have a polling pace within 50 feet of every human either.  I want people to be able to vote and oppose measures that intentionally make it harder.  I just think the claims that IDs hurt people is not based in fact and there are options we can employ to mitigate them.

I find it very strange that Liberals in the US defend the idea that you should be able to vote without proper ID. Just make an ID mandatory to have for every adult, make it easy to acquire and free of charge and all problems are solved, no? That's how virtually the rest of the civilized world does it...

Exactly.  I don't know who all these people are that lack an ID.  You need an ID to open a bank account.  You need an ID to get government assistance.  They say Voter ID would hinder poor minorities, but minorities live almost exclusively in large urban areas where there's plenty of public transportation and state agencies to make IDs.  San Francisco is able to issue IDs to illegals without issue.

Until the nationwide protests of the last few days, I had no idea how bad the problem was, but our nation is drowning in drama queenery.

The immediate reaction of most celebrities to Trump's victory was: "THE WORLD IS WAITING FOR MY TAKE ON THE ELECTION!”

Aaron Sorkin and David Remnick, in matching pink housecoats and fuzzy slippers, wrote hysterical jeremiads about the cataclysm of Trump's election.

Sorkin was especially irked that Trump was supported by white men who don't appreciate rap music. As proof that the end was near, he triumphantly reported: "The Dow futures dropped 700 points overnight." After a brief drop, the Dow surged to historic highs, recording its biggest weekly gain in five years.

But I can't wait to read the letters these guys wrote to their children about Bill Clinton! Don't leave us hanging guys -- post those, too, please.

In Hiplandia, "I couldn't stop crying!" and "I vomited!" are dispositive proof that Trump is a bad man -- not that these people are mentally unbalanced. Their own paranoia is cited to show how evil their enemies are.

It's supposed to say something about Trump that people are posting little homilies titled: "How to Tell a Child Donald Trump Won the Election." (Google produces 60 million hits for that idea.)

In fact, that tells us nothing whatsoever about Trump, but does tell us that liberal parents are intentionally raising neurotics by telling their children that they are living in Nazi Germany.

Americans who make $20,000 a year are made fun of by Samantha Bee for going to Wal-Mart.

These are all people who will knife one another in the back to get their kids into $50,000-a-year all-white preschools. But they think they're less racist than other Americans because of their pleasant interactions with Rosa when she comes to clean.

In the modern Democratic Party, out-of-work coal miners are constantly denounced for their "privilege" by half-black girls at Yale -- who wouldn't have gotten in without the black half -- and who will be paid a quarter-million dollars as the "diversity coordinator" at some Fortune 500 corporation.

Apparently the new method of developing opinions is to figure out what's trendy and allowing celebrities and comedians to act as your personal shoppers.

I'm just so busy, I don't have time to know things. Could you help me pick out my views?

Absolutely! I've got some great opinions for you. How do you like, "I can't believe this is my country" or "I am literally shaking”?

Oh yes, I love those –- that looks great on me!

This is why the snowflakes are smashing windows, beating up Trump supporters and calling for the assassination of Trump and the rape of his wife. If you've ever wondered how France's Reign of Terror happened, observe the anti-Trump protests — the main result of which is to convince people who had misgivings about voting for Trump that they did the right thing.
.

Trump is denounced for his alleged "racism, homophobia, sexism, anti-Semitism, Islamaphobia!”

No one stops to think: Wait a minute! These are all groups Trump has showered with affection, with the exception of Muslim immigrants -- who persecute the other four.

This is the mob's muscle memory kicking in, as when Sen. Patty Murray reached for her mental file on "Good Things a Leader Can Do" and ended up praising Osama bin Laden after 9/11 for "building day care facilities, building health care facilities." The protesters are pulling out slogans from their "Things We Pretend to Hate" file.

All this is the consequence of the Democratic Party's decision in the 1970s to get rid of all the normal people. Back when the party contained a large segment of the working class, there was a safety valve. They couldn't afford to be associated with airhead celebrities pushing insane ideas. Mayor Richard Daley, for example, did not travel to Cuba or brag about his friendship with Daniel Ortega.

But then the head of the auto union had to be kicked out of the party because he was "anti-choice.”

Really? But he's been a Democrat for 18 years …

Well, maybe it's time we hear from the REST of America!

Unfortunately, the rest of America wasn't large enough for Democrats to win elections. So they had to import Third World immigrants to vote for them.

Trump's election is the Doomsday Scenario for Democrats because they were just on the verge of turning the whole country into California through mass immigration. Then they'd never have to think about those hicks in the icky parts of the country ever again. It would be so much better to be able to win elections by whipping up resentment toward white people.

Last year, old lefty Bernie Sanders said mass immigration was a disaster for the working class, driving down their wages. He called open borders "a Koch brothers idea.”

Representing the modern, yuppified Democratic Party, the low-testosterone boys at Vox went nuts. Dylan Matthews sneeringly cited the many benefits of mass immigration -- to wit: cheap gardeners, maids and nannies. He also compared a pro-American immigration policy to the massacre of "10,000 foreign civilians to save a single American life.”

He didn't say it, but I got the distinct impression that Dylan was "literally shaking.”

Here's a story on it pre-election. https://www.thenation.com/article/a-90- … er-id-law/

From your article:

"Voter turnout in this year's presidential primary was the highest since 1972 with voter ID in place, so to now suggest turnout was down in the general election because of it is wrong," Evenson said. "We have made voting easy while ensuring it is hard to cheat. Lower turnout in the general election was true nationwide. It was not unique to Wisconsin or voter ID."

Albrecht acknowledged that some of the drop-off in turnout had to do with the candidates and less enthusiasm for Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. He also did not have statistics detailing how many voters were turned away for not having the proper ID."

So we see a lower turnout compared to 2012 nationwide, but the article wants to blame voter ID in Wisconsin. It also points to low income areas of Milwaukee, which surprise, turned out nationwide in surprisingly lower numbers than they did in 2012.

Clinton was a bad candidate and represented everything people hate about D.C.  You think Clinton knows who Rogers is?  Think she's drinking a beer while eating some cheese talking about what model Harley she prefers? Milwaukee and Wisconsin in general is a bastion of white working class who heavily favored Trump.

This is why. If you guys go full retard and align yourselves with Warren and Sanders types for 2020, you'll have a repeat.  Quit looking to liberal elites who couldn't change their own oil. Accept that Clinton was such a shit candidate, half the country voted for the guy who hosted a reality TV show over her.

I don't interpret that quote the same way you do....it's where votes "disappeared" that matters...and I'm talking about state governments who get to create their own rules for voting systems....where is your evidence of "cheating" anyway? I have never seen any evidence...except that scattered republican voters who voted twice in the last 4 years. I didn't ever hear you condemn that RF...

Essentially what you're saying is my choice in this country is between Republican lite and Republican?

You say that about "liberal elite" but what about your precious conservative elites? We just elected the most elite of the elite!

I will not be put in the position of defending Hillary....

I didn't say they cheated, the article did. But someone wearing a burka was able to get Huma Abedin's manhattan ballot because they don't require ID. Every state has public voting rolls that show the last time someone voted. If all you require is a Comcast bill with a matching name on it, that's a huge gaping hole in our elections that could easily be manipulated.  From a simple integrity perspective, controls should be in place. Anyone caught violating our election laws should be punished to the fullest extent of the law, regardless of party. I could link numerous examples of democratic voter fraud, but if you're interested just google it. Here is a generic issue from the Washington post citing examples:  http://m.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/ … ts-all-to/

I didn't vote for Trump remember. I voted for Kasich in the primary and would have voted for Rubio next. Hardly elites of the GOP and world. Wasn't Rubio criticized during the debates for being 180k or so in debt?  Meanwhile Clinton left the White House with Millions in the bank and told reporters they were almost bankrupt.  Bernie just closed on his 3rd house by the way, but I wouldn't call him elite.

Have a source for this?  300k showed up to the polls and were denied? 300k people who weren't convicted felons and were U.S. citizens over the age of 18 were denied the ability to register to vote?

Trumps picks, while they do deserve to earn their legacy, the book is unwritten.

I completely agree. I'm just trying to show some of the hysterics from Republicans in 2008.
