If anyone thinks there's going to be a smoking gun where we have proof Clinton ordered any of these actions, it ain't gonna happen.  She's surrounded herself with people willing to skirt the law and go outlaw.  Even if this blows up and she loses, Obama will pardon her before he leaves office.  Best case scenario Hillary loses and Obama makes the charges go away.  Worst case, she wins, the FBI brings up charges, and a civil war breaks out.  Glad I got a new case of M16 ammo just in case the crazies take to the streets.

I'm a bit confused by this. The emails apparently aren't Clintons, weren't part of the DNC hack, weren't part of WikiLeaks ... so why part of the same investigation and where did they come from?

Because the Podesta emails are showing that there were behavior and activity going on Clinton and her aides previously denied.  Like Obama emailing Clinton under a pseudonym.   "The first I hear of her private email use was from the press"  Now we know that's horseshit.  Lynch meeting in a hanger with Bill.  More evidence of pay to play.  Their discussions of how to get around this.

If you really think the Clinton's aren't dirtier than Nixon at this point, you're just not listening.

We now know Hillary used her server to house Top Secret information.  She denied that from the start.  Lie #1
We now know Hillary via her assistants worked to wipe the server.  "You mean wipe it with a rag?"  Lie #2

The problem is the FBI already gave immunity to all of her aides, so they'd have a hard time using anything they have previously said against her.

I have no doubt Obama and Lynch agreed to sweep this under the rug.  But there is too much information out there to pretend this was all one big misunderstanding.  I think Comey is trying to be a standup guy and realizes he was the only one not exerting pressure to get the result he wanted.  He let his agents handle it and just chalked up the conspiracy talk to partisanship.  With the Podesta leaks and other emails, he has to see what really transpired.

With Clinton dropping in Polls, this could be enough to turn it around.

Sleazy Paul Ryan, Ted Cruz, another Republican or do would they just go with Trump?

The constitution says congress can only vote on the 3 candidates with highest amount of EVs. Since only 2 will get any EVs, it'd be between Trump and Clinton. They'd probably still vote in Trump.

Imagine if McMullin won Utah and the House picked him.

I don't think the House would pick him, but I think in that scenario no one would get a clear majority and it would go to the Senate.  So who would they pick, Pence or Kaine?

Wow what a sour response. I wrote that in about seven minutes on the toilet this morning.

While I may not be funny, I know about the electoral college. I know  that the Republicans have all the shit states that only have three electoral votes to pledge. If they're not three electoral votes little more than 4 or 5 electoral. college votes.

What's so difficult to understand about that? States Like North Dakota and South Dakota and Wyoming and Idaho and Montana. You know, all those inbred white states  that nobody lives in or wants to live in .

Have you ever left Chicago?  Met the people that create all the food and shit no one in your city is willing/capable to make?  Montana and Wyoming are gorgeous. They lack the urban component that makes Chicago the deadliest city in the country. I'll take a week on a ranch in Montana every time over a week in Chicago staring at concrete and paying 2x as much for mediocre food.

Next week you'll be on Craigslist looking for dudes to gay marry. It's just what we do as registered Dems.

I already sold all of my guns, publicly apologized for being a CIS White Male, declared my superior intellect for voting Democratic and traveled to DC to throw my Bronze Star against the non-existent Iraq War monument.

The only way Trump wins is if your typical Democrat is so turned off by Clinton (and arguably, a significant amount are) that they stay home.  Minorities and the youth aren't going to come out in anywhere near the numbers they did in 2008 and 2012.  Yes, Trump has set record numbers for the GOP in terms of turn out.  But that was all before he shit the bed and as seen with Utah, he's taken a heavy hit with the evangelical/religious right types.  Most aren't going to flip to Clinton, but they're not going to be motivated to come out.

The amount of people required to stay home for Clinton versus the amount Trump would need to turn out is staggering.  It's just not probable and his favorability in the only states that really matter isn't high enough to overcome his other deficits.  Even if he turns around Ohio and Florida, it's not enough.  He needed wins in Democrat leaning states like PA, WI and MI to win, and that's not going to happen.

2 weeks from now we'll all wake up to the headline that Hillary Clinton is the next president of the United States.  Her people are already putting it out there that they intend to bring Republicans into cabinet positions to break the gridlock and get Washington working again.  She ran an ad in Pittsburgh last night that was literally an older woman saying she doesn't agree with everything Hillary says or has done, but Trump is too unstable to be elected.  She's openly appealing to the Republicans who don't have a hardon for a  Red Dawn or 21st Century Civil War scenario.

Those who think the Democrats will take over congress are just as looney as those who think Trump is going to pull off some miracle win.

Higher premiums and higher deductibles. Can't blame the insurance companies for this. It's what happens when you mandate healthcare that's too expensive for the healthy people to sign up for.

And yet... somehow... in every fucking other civilized country on the face of the fucking planet they manage to make this system more affordable and more accessible...  while at the same time still having an on average higher quality of service than in the US. Go figure...

Interesting. That's not what a lot of people that live there say. I hear Canadians complain all the time about their taxes and the wait to see a doctor. I think this is just another falicy that people love to throw out there to say how bad we are that's without merit. Sure, they have universal health care but it's expensive and slow. There's a price for everything. Nothing is free.

As long as you're not one of the 15 million retards unable to get health insurance, medical care is superior in the US to any other place.  Maybe not dramatically, but the notion that other countries have superior care is solely predicated on the false notion most other countries have "free" and easy access to health care.

Everyone wants to compare the US with other western nations, but they always ignore the elephant in the room when it comes to US demographics.

You may find this suprising, but people actually keep track of stuff like this. From the statements made in debates, Trump overwhelmingly tells more lies. Not by a little bit either, but HUGE.

That's why I love fact checks, data etc, it always exposes liars such as yourself.

Come on, man. Trump is full of shit, but those fact checkers stretch the English language and context to the breaking point to align with their favored candidate.

Do you really think Clinton only tells one 'lie' for every 10 Trump gives?
