A new Florida poll has Trump in the lead. Let's all jump to conclusions because one poll put Trump in the lead.
Two things I noticed that made me question the polls results. The majority of those polled voted for Romney in 2012 - Florida went to Obama, so I question their sample. And nearly half said they had someone who served in the military in their household. Something like 7-8% of the country has worn the uniform.

Flagg, I'm almost certain you offended me at some point about 10+ years ago...where's my olive branch?
I got a 13 inch branch for you babe.

Blacks commit a higher amount of crime based on their population. Again, more than half of all murders are committed by blacks despite only being 12% of the population. So not only do you have more police involvement with blacks, they're still shooting more whites. No outrage. No movement.
I'm in Chicago for the week so I've been watching local news. A 12 year old black child was found burned beyond recognition in a recycling bin Saturday. Did that make national news? A 6 month pregnant black woman was shot and murdered Sunday and her baby was delivered afterward. Did that make national news?
Why are there no riots for the 12 year old who was burned and tossed in a dumpster or the pregnant woman who was murdered? Why isn't the media broadcasting these events?
See you come here for one week and presume to know everything about the city based on news reports?
I'm going to enjoy this again.
I have lived in this city for 10 years. You presume to know everything out about it by glossing over things based on a news report or two?
You presume to know everything about the problems here in Chicago based on a quick glance at a few cherry picked statistics.
Here's a couple things to think about, is it possible the black criminals are prosecuted more than white? Is it possible if they're also convicted at a higher rate because they're black?
There's outrage here all the time. So you're one day sampling of what goes on here in the city is purely asinine and typical of Trump supporter.
Second, you also say you were informed by media reports but then asked the question why media doesn't report on the stuff? Hypocrisy right in your own words. Inconsistencies written in your words.
I am emplore the rest of you to stop listening to this guy. He makes up things and talks about them as though they are already fact.
He cites statistics that are skewed based on obvious biases.
He cites opinion pieces and blogs as proof that his arguments are correct.
He comes to the city of Chicago for a week and presumes to know everything about it based on a couple of news reports. It's Jack-assery at its finest. You are not to be listened to for any reason. It's nothing but spin doctored messages and propaganda machine content.
I don't know what has inspired you to follow me the past few days, but let me apologize and offer an olive branch. If you'd like to refute my ideas and offer your own, I'll be glad to listen.
I don't think I know everything about Chicago. I'm in the city for a week about once a month. I was simply pointing these tragedies as two events that in my opinion, are much more horrific than the the tragedy of police officers using lethal force. Neither got national attention which is why I mentioned them. I'm aware there's many factors unique to Chicago. For example, I know that several years ago the police force made a concerted effort to arrest the leaders of several prominent gangs, creating a power vacuum.
I don't think I've linked a single blog in any of my posting and no opinion pieces jump to mind either. I don't know how repeating crime statistics in the US is biased, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume there is something to these FBI crime statistics you're aware of that I'm not.
Again, I apologize if I've inadvertently offended you. Eager to participate in any fruitful discussion. But if your posts are going to continue to be in the manner you've been following the past few days, please don't bother. I'm not going to read them and no one else seems to be impressed with the quality of the arguments you're making when you come at me with this tone. Apologies and hope to have meaningful discussion moving forward.

TRUTH coming out... One dude was on PCP... Another case family claiming he was holding a book but I a gun was recovered and also one of the shootings was a black cop shooting an armed man. I think that was North Carolina.
None of us know the truth. Just because the guy had PCP on him or was under its effects doesn't entitle a trigger happy cop to execute him. Like I said, if the cop who shot the guy in Tulsa did so illegally, she'll be tried and sent to prison for murder. System working as intended.
But in Charlotte we have an armed man getting in a confrontation with police. The family cries that their baby would never do anything like that, and a bunch of morons riled up by the BLM narrative take to the streets to riot and loot.

polluxlm wrote:You really think a Muslim will suffer less discrimination from a racist officer than a black man?
One was taken alive after he actually shot at police, and he was given medical attention. The Muslim.
In Tulsa, the black man had his hands up and his back to cops and he was shot. Then he was left on the street to bleed to death.
That's what I'm talking about. Specific instances.
How does one get out alive when he actually has battled with officers and the other shot to death because he "posed a threat."
Do you have inside knowledge the rest of us don't. I've seen a film shot at a distance from the opposite side of the vehicle as the deceased. His hands didn't look up to me at that point. That being said, the chief of police said he was unarmed and no gun was in the vehicle. If this cop acted illegally, she'll be punished. Congratulations. That's your 2nd case in the past few years out of thousands. I guess 2 cases out of tens of thousands is a trend. Where did you study statistics? Fun fact, in every case the media has inflated for ratings, the police were vindicated in a court of law where emotions and opinions were shown the door and only facts matter.
Look at the numbers. More whites are shot by cops despite blacks making up the majority of violent crimes. Stop the #BLM nonsense. It's all a lie.

Randall Flagg wrote:Dude, if you're going to come in here with every outlier poll, at least look at the questions the poll asked. They're asking participants about birther shit. Nothing about Hillary "do you think she's one strobe light away from doing the robot on national tv?" was not a question that was asked. You're smarter than this. I'll be waiting for your comments when the next poll comes out showing Trump with a lead. Seriously folks, if you're going to hitch your wagon to a poll, at least look at what the poll is asking.
You're saying this now and not after the first hundred "Trump is going to win!" Polls listed in this thread?
No single poll means anything. But the battleground states get a lot of attention. If 4 polls in a row and during a similar time saying Clinton is up around 5, but one comes out and says Trump is up by 4, I'm going to assume that ones a fraud. It's virtually neck and neck. But do you honestly think that reminding people of Trump's idiotic birther comments holds any more sway over the dipshits who haven't made up their mind than Hillary collapsing, her "deplorable" comments or the terrorist attacks to hit the country? This poll was specifically built around birther comments and what do you know, it put Hillary in a slight lead because of it.
Let's revisit in a week and see what other polls conclude that don't include negative questions exclusive to Trump.

In case we forgot, Trump really doesn't think much of the 1st Amendment.
https://thinkprogress.org/trump-first-a … .a3lk00otk
“They’re all talking about it so wonderfully because, you know, it’s called ‘freedom of the press,’ where you buy magazines and they tell you how to make these same bombs that I saw” Trump said. “They tell you how to make bombs. We should arrest the people that do that because they’re participating in crime. Instead they say ‘oh no you can’t do anything, that’s freedom of expression.’”
Without questioning the source, some material is illegal. Child porn for example. You'll never find someone who loves the 1st Amendment more than me, but where do you draw the line between information and advocating violence? I think that's what Trump is trying to articulate, and obviously Think Progress isn't going to provide any context.

Proving the point I made above. Right now the leadership of the US is more concerned with appeasing liberal, feel good desires than security. Trump will at least make sure we're certain someone isn't going to walk into a shopping mall with C4 as soon as they pass through customs.
3 attacks within 24 hours. Obama has yet to comment, and DeBlassio refuses to acknowledge its terrorism. God forbid we upset a few sensitive people. I take no happiness in this, but I expect to see Trump's numbers rise. Latest polls have him winning the electoral, so let's pray no more incidents occur.
