An Axl interview is better than most albums.

After listening to some of the boots Axl and the band are in good form, but Axlin08 is clearly suffering from the "I was at the gig!" syndrome 16

Yes, but the US going down won't mean somebody else is taking over. The age of the superpower is dead. You can't have world government with any too strong nation. The bankers have robbed you of your wealth, shipped your produciton capacity overseas and instigated a demographic shift through immigration. America has had a contract out on her since her inception and like in the mob they come at you all smiles.

You're going to have your late empire years like the Romans with constant warfare abroad and at home. Slowly draining your economic capacity and international stature to the point where it can be broken up for good and assimilated into the new communist utopia.

This economic crisis will be the first step towards loose supranational entities creating a global cold war triangle. US, Mexico and Canada with the rest of SA following when whites are gone in 50 or so years. Europe, Russia, parts the mid east and an asiatic coallision formed by China to counter the emergig superblocks. Africa will be split in 3 and become the new battleground where virtual soldiers and drone bombers will provide the necessary entertainment and terror for the masses. But that isn't exactly new news.

Or so the script says..

I'm highly anticipating an epic fail. Everything about MTV that made those shows good is gone and replaced with bland reality. Even if they bring back the old writers there is no place for the original edginess of BB in the modern format of television.

Quality journalism by you there jamester. You'd fit right in with a big paper.

Good interview by DJ. Pumps up the band without sounding like a cronie.

The Karzai comments are purely strategical and should be viewed for what they are. The leaders in the region see a waning western presence coming and are hedging their bets in the case the US have to pull out for good leaving them at the mercy of Russia and China. If it doesn't happen they clearly view the US position too weak at the moment to do anything about it, like assassinate Karzai and risk a cranked up revolution.

America is technically broke and racking up wars on an almost weekly basis. Pakistan, Uganda, Kenya, Jemen, Iraq, Afghanistan with Syria and Iran on the christmas wishlist. Obviously the leaders in those countries don't think that can last for ever and are preparing themselves for changes. The comments from Karzai are very telling and could be the sign of a paradigm shift on the geopol stage.

Shame? Sounds like this guy went down doing what he loved.

Rangers conduct 3 missions a day? Wow.

Cool? Have you even contemplated the darker side of such technology? I'm as hardcore conspiracy buff as you can get but even I was shocked when I saw this.
