I would've liked to have seen the cool logo they were using on the 2006/07 tours in there somewhere. The one that combined the old logo with the new font.

I kinda like that star art opposite the front cover too. Those little red figures remind me a little of the red skulls in the Robert Williams artwork for the original AFD art.

Well, Axl has laboured over the music for this album for years, you'd at least expect the album art that stands up alongside of that, without errors etc.

is there any chance this is just an early draft?

#3886 Re: Guns N' Roses » James Hetfield comments on Axl Rose » 880 weeks ago

I'll be the first to admit being a big Metallica fan, but I'm also just as a big GN'R fan. And for people to say James Hetfield has no talent, they obviously haven't seen the band live. Not only is he one hell of a frontman, he is also a fucking awesome guitarist AND singer. You think singing is tough on it's own? Try singing AND playing the difficult stuff he plays on guitar at the SAME time, like he does.

Like Axl, James Hetfield as a frontman, is a rock legend. And to say he has no talent because he slagged Axl for his primaddona rock star demands and antics 15 years ago, is just plain ignorant.

Anyway, it's good to see James making some cool comments about Axl. I guess time and sobriety has definitely changed his outlook on him.

Does Sebastian's backing vocals appear on Sorry?

The thing I don't get is that they cover other band's material pretty well when the play live. I've heard them play pretty cool versions of Metallica's Sad But True, Four Horsemen and even Pantera's Cowboys From Hell, but their own material is just rubbish.

Has it been played on Australian radio yet? I haven't heard anything.

#3890 Re: Guns N' Roses » Brain talks Chinese Democracy » 882 weeks ago

The thing is, was Brain asked to redo Josh Freese's work because he left, or was Axl that particular about getting Brain on CD?
