The moment Ashba checked into GNR, I checked out. I have less than zero interest in the 2009-15 era of the band and I need to hear Ashba shit all over 20 year old songs like I need a hole in the head.
That dumb ass admitted 10 years ago that he couldn't play Riad. Good riddance.
Don't get me wrong, he absolutely sucked. (Remember Better Gone? the dj version of Better)
But I wonder how the Frankenstein monster of a mess it would have been. If there would be Robin, Buckethead, and Brain parts still.
Don't know how that idiot stayed as long as he did in the band.

I’m confused, when did a version of Silkworms with full vocals leak? The one I listened to only had the chorus.
I think the "Bitch like you" line was added for the live version only. Kinda like the demos of The Blues had the "Ohhh ohh ohhhhh" lines at the end but in the album it had the actual lyrics

The song is called "A Quick Song" recorded during 1999-2001 where it is said by several forums that Slash and Duff would be recording their instruments for this song

These are obviously demos and nowhere close to where the 06 demos were in development. They still have Josh on drums for godsakes. I'm pretty stoked to see what Slash and Duff can do with Hardschool and Atlas. Especially if they get someone like Dave Jerden or Brendan O'Brien producing.
