I can't seem to find a better version of that either. Wow, that's a sweet version though. Axl sounds as good as he ever has there.

Since I didn't get the back up to switch generations, we should at least skip the same song from two weeks in a row...
I'm fine with changing up the rules, if Russ and the rest of you guys agree. I just figured the vote is the vote. Apparently, despite Jungle being up there this week, there are plenty of people who want it again.
One thing to consider is that we would be Jungle-free as of this Friday for awhile.:)

Man, you're one lucky dude. What an awesome night!

I've given up. There's no convincing you guys. You like what you like, and that's just the way it is. Bono and I will take Katy Perry and have her all to ourselves.
Not that I want a 3 way with Bono. You know what I mean.
I find her quite hawt too. I think some combination of too much makeup and a 1000 yd stare make some of her pics come off worse than others. Her bouncing around with the Elmo shirt on is about the sexiest thing going.

Last week's winner: Welcome to the Jungle (VMAs '88)
Here's this week's choices. Remember to PM me anything else you'd like to nominate for inclusion in next week's list.

This is a good one.

Looks like it's Welcome To The Jungle (VMAs 88) with 39% of the vote!
I don't have the mod-ly goodness to be able to close a poll, so Russ- pull the plug whenever you get a chance please.

I still love the guy (warts and all). It's hard to do sometimes. I even defended CD to someone who was bashing it without ever hearing it. It's okay to bash it if you've heard it and don't like it, but don't bash it just for the sake of bashing it. It has some moments that flash what could have been even for those that don't like it that much.
Same here, though I tend to be a "nutswinger" to begin with.
But it's like having a kid brother or sister. It's totally fine for YOU to tune them up, but some other kid does it, it's time to fight.
Whoa...hold it. Let's not go too crazy by bringing Robin back
I'd be wearing cream-jeans if they brought Robin back.

So here's a bit of nothing to chew on in your downtime. You're approached by the Devil in an "Oh God, You Devil" sort of arrangement. He'll make you famous in trade for your soul. Not only that, but you'll truly BE that good. Ever dreamt you could shred, but in real life you brain won't keep up with your chubby little fingers? Bam- now you can shred. Finally, no tricks- it's a straight up deal. You're the real deal. You can compose on your instrument (vocals are an instrument here), and you're fucking awesome.
Here's the one stipulation: you have to pick ONE person that really existed (or still exists) and gain THAT person's skills. And like I said, there's no tricks here, so you could say "I want to be Axl at his absolute top-most form", and the Universe will work that out for you.
So who/what would it be?
Just for funzies, here's a link to Oh God You Devil for you kids out there. It's NOT required viewing.

It is strange how easy it is to turn into an Axl or Slash proxy. I feel like I'm perfectly able to be critical of either without needing to use the other to bolster my argument- they're both flawed in different ways.
But like I said, it's such an easy trap to fall into.
