Upon first listen of the album, two tracks that really stood out and most impressed me were "All Nightmare Long" (particularly its face-melting solo, you know the one) and this, "Broken, Beat & Scarred." Killer choice of singles off a killer comeback. Bring it.

I agree, this album was a killer comeback. In some ways, it made alot of people forget St Anger. Glad to see them back on their throne.

From 96-00, the KISS reunion was huge for me. Especially that summer of 96 when the reunion tour started, man what a summer!

Love some country, but don't listen to much of the new stuff. My favorites are Alan Jackson, George Strait, Toby Keith, and of course Hank Jr and David Alan Coe!

One of the coolest projects I've ever heard, and I'm sure some of you have it, is Rebel Meets Rebel. Dimebag, Vinnie Paul, and Rex from Pantera with David Alan Coe on vocals. Who else could have wrote "Cowboys Do More Dope"?!

Other than GN'R:

KISS, Metallica, Pantera, Megadeth, Slayer, Alice In Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, White Zombie, Danzig, Pearl Jam, Ozzy, Ted Nugent

That's all I can think of off the bat, though more will probably come to me shortly...

Hmmm, good one. I like em both...

It's not just if someone makes a criticism, I think most are okay with those. Its the people who have nothing positive ever to say about it. Its the same shtick in every thread. It gets really old, reading the same post, posted in every GNR-related thread.
