Wow, what a lousy thing to say. The fact that you have say in the future of the country I'd die for makes me physically ill.

Guess you couldn't handle an intelligent discussion.

The comment is a talking point sure, but I wish people would move beyond foul ups. When you have thousands of things going through your mind, most of which are incredibly stressful and thought provoking, you're going to say something retarded once in a while. I'm sure Obama knows there are 50 states. When a candidate states a position or associates with someone of questionable character, that is something that should raise a question. But when they say there are 57 states or forget what Sunni and Sheite(sp?, see I don't even know the spelling and am too lazy to use google) disagree on (like i always get medicare and medicaide confused, doesn't mean I don't know what each program does), people who couldn't run for county janitor shouldn't harp and howl like monkeys on such slipups and should foucs on important things.
With regard to his hardon, who knows? In my own lifetime there have been plenty of occasions where Randy Jr. comes to life when it's least desired. I know there is a picture floating around of me at some speaker during collge with an obvious raging hardon, that at the time, I thought I had concealed. Every guy knows (or should) the standard trick of tucking it under the elastic of your underwear, it's quite possible that Obama thought he had concealed it and stretching out his leg was an attempt to make it "blend in" rather than obviously stand out. I just seriously doubt he would model a hardon, especially knowing the scrutiny he is under.
While those here saying it may be photoshopped or "natural", let's be honest. We can be adult enough to acknowledge that Mr. Obama's dick gets hard every now and then and if he was naturally that large, he would have been working with Jim Bob many years ago. It would actually be worse if he was "natural" as it would be obvious he bought those jeans to accentuate his "gift". While such behavior is acceptable for Jim Morrison and Axl Rose, it's hardly something a man seeking the Presidency would do.
Personally I see enough problems with Obama, mainly his basic political platform, his racist history, ungrateful wife and those whom he has sought their companionship and advice. We don't (I don't at least) need to delude myself into thinking he believes there are 57 states or that he's an exhibitionist (Billy Clinton gots that one locked up) to deter me from voting for him. The fact that his polices are bad for america is good enough.

I have never once suggested that a Candian death is insignificant. I wouldn't dare dishonor any man who gave his life for a cause he deemed worthy. Again, I was never attacking Canada, saying it isn't a beautiful, friendly, nice country. I simplied stated that in my opinion, it's not the "greatest" ally of the US. That doesn't change the fact that it is an ally and good one at that. Canada and the US are more alike than any other nation (Canada just doesn't love freedom as much as the US, I kid lol).
And finally, acknowledging the leadership and contribuitons of a few men who wore some stars on their shoulders isn't glorifying war. George C. Marshall is probably better know for his status as the US Secretary of State and The Marshall Plan for help rebuilding Europe than as the Chief of Staff during WW2. I don't see how honoring men who led the way to destroying evil and protecting their nation is glorifying death (which is what you meant when you sai dwe glorify war). Ecspecially since we have more anti-war crazes here than all of Canada combined .

I also want to add that taking credit for something you have no involvement in is pretty dumb. For example, me claiming that I am somehow cool or better because of the american revolution, ww2, etc means nothing as I wasn't there. Considering you have no idea what is taught in American schools, and I'd bet my paycheck you're extremely ignorant on military history, I'd be careful before you begin a debate with me about who did what and who deserves credit. Another ill-informed wannabe doing the "cool" thing and poking fun at "americans", exactly my point that started this whole side show.

Who are the famous Candian Generals from WW2? Who led the allies during ww2? Who planned D-Day and provided nearly all the troops ( I know how you guys love to say, "hey, we were there too (all 5 of us)". Sorry pal, chalk it up to population (you have what 20 mil now) but all things considered it's dust in the wind/ The mounties aren't much against steel.

Neemo, I think you miss the point. First off, Canada's troops in Afghanistan amount to squat diddly. I am in no way insulting their service or losses, but in the big picture, it's squat. The US has more troops in the Middle East than the entire Canadian Army, and we still maintain a very storng presence in Afghanistan. You make it sound as if Canada was left in Afghanistan to fight the war while the US bailed. Get real.
I get your nationalism and love of Canada, I wouldn't expect anything less. I'm not going to mention Canada's involvements in the major conflicts, as nothing positive would come from it, but there is a reason why the US gets all the credit for those wars, save WWI obviously.
And electricty, I hope you kid. We're doing you a favor buying electricity from you. The US could solve all of its domestic electricty needs with 3 or 4 nuclear power plants, but once again, a vocal, ill-informed minority segment of the population is momentarily keeping that from happening.
Don't read my comments as a hit on Canada, but all things considered, the US strongest allies are those who always follow us into battle and help to protect the free world. Military force is the strongest, objective trait. It's only natural that the US and Canada have strong trade agreements, but it's obvious who benefits the most from this arrangement. There's no arguing that the US is Canada's greatest ally, but I disagree that the US has no better allies than our neighbors to the North.
Let's agree to disagree.

You're missing my point. I'm not saying Canada isn't a good ally and I'm certainly not saying Canada doesn't make money off of the US. I'm stating that from a security standpoint (economic as well as militarily considered) the UK is America's greatest ally.
Let's be honest, Canada could "cut-off" the US tomorrow, but who would be hurt more by that? The US needs allies that are willing to help enforce our policies, not just make a buck off of us.

We have far more coal and oil fields than any other nation, our lovely liberal community just throws a tantrum anytime it's mentioned we use them. Neemo, I'm not hating on Canada, but everything you mentioned, the US has more of and even exports. I'm just saying, all things considered, Britain is the US's greatest ally. Don't take it personally.
