I think this thread(so far) should show the GNR camp the feelings of the entire online fan base in a nutshell. People "whine", but when a band member is willing to divulge even tiny nuggets of info and "keep it real", the whining ceases and people get a better understanding of the situation.
As I've said before, a little goes a long ways.
Well said. In other words we do not ask for much. Just a little effort.

So while I may be considered one of the jerk offs by the band and or the fans I still give Ron tons of credit on this. Cause it contained info and was not pointless. Again Axl if you do not like interviews please take advantage of this amazing wealth of interview talent you've got by your side.

And since people feel like playing dirty... At least Guns N' Roses doesn't have a bassist that call people "niggers" onstage.
Tommy Lee is considered to be one of the greatest rock drummers of all time. Even Sebastian Bach didn't even know Brain was in GNR back in 2006 on that Eddie Trunk interview
Slash just got 2nd best guitarist of all time in Time Magazine.. I guess people like u think Robin Finck is number 1.
I love the new GNR fan who are so oblivious to reality.
the reality is I don't give a fuck about Tommy Lee, Vince Neil or Motley Crue. I can't stand them, and it has nothing to do with new Gnr, old Gnr, or the Axl/Vince bullshit from whenever it was.
Wether you like Vince or not, the guy hit the nail on it's head. I hate Celine Dion like no one else can hate her. And if she would've said those things I'd have to agree with her even if it would make me sick to my stomach.

One of his best interviews. I've always said this. Axl should really take advantage of Ron's good interview skills. If that guy could elaborate more we'd get tons of info. But to his credit he at least tries to share info with us instead of shitting in his pants when asked about whose idea it was for a guitar solo during a concert.

Who really cares anyway? Even if they are out, it has absolutely no effect on what we now know as GnR. We're talking replacements of replacements of replacements that had nothing to do with the writing of CD.
I agree. This means nothing to me other than it made me laugh.

Let's take the hostility down a few notches. Was it an inappropriate comment? Yes. Should he be crucified for it? No. You gotta look at the context it was used in. It was more a casual, off the wall statement meant in a joking manner than a true personal attack.
Having said that, it was definitely inappropriate and when everyone posts here they should realize that we do have non caucasians posting here. So jokes or no jokes, take that into consideration.
Reminds me of that incident at the old site where I said something and for some reason the Catholics on the board got offended. I was dodging bullets on the open board and in PMs. Basically had to apologize and retract the statement. I didn't mean for anything to be insulting towards any religion, but that's how it was perceived, and like this, stood out like a sore thumb among pages of posts.
While I agree with you James I can also understand Axlin. Beta and Fernando do treat people like trash when they come on the boards. So treat people like trash well expect to be treated the same.

I'm surprised Slippery when wet made it this far though. I mean personally it is one of my favorite albums of the 80's. Easily in my top 5. But still surprised to see it still there.
