That is nothing but hearsay. The NYT article was a blatant attempt of character assasintation. I won't flee to Canada if Obama wins, but Howard Stern said it best today. Obama has turned the election into American Idol. The man offers nothing of any substance and his record is identical to Clinton's while in the Senate. Hope and change is the same platform Democrats ran on in 2006 and nothing has changed. If the American Idol fans get Obama elected, it will be a quick 4 years and then the adults can lead the country.

Clinton was known as a fisical conservative. Hardly the liberal party loyalist try to remember him as. I wasn't saying all Democrats oppose self responsibility and reliance, just the new leftist that have risen to prominence this past 8 years. The cradle to grave mentality will destroy what made this country great. Neo-Cons and Liberals alike embrace it.

Now that is a damn good article. However, someone in the Green party is never a man's man and certainly wouldn't fall under the category of angry white men. This article hit it right on the head and focused on my problem with the democratic party and liberalism in general; their victim mentality and refusal to take responsibility for their actions and lifestyle.

America will never be a third world country and I'm suprised you're so worried about a non-issue. For someone who loves to label the GOP as a bunch of fear baiters, you sure are buying into the rhetoric of a looming recession. Even if there is going to be a recession, the world won't collapse and people will survive. You have yet to explain how the Democrats will prevent a recession, simply that they'll tax us more to pay for the programs the'll enact. Personally I see the economy alarmist as no different than the neocons who screamed Bin Laden was behind every mailbox. The Democrats are capitzalizing on the fear of the economy much like people point to the exaggerated terror threats the GOP supposedly used.
If Democrats were seriously concerned about the economy and really thought it was in trouble, the last thing they would want to do is create the biggest social program the world has ever seen. People have been yelling recession for over a year now and it still hasn't happened. Unemployment is at record lows. America could strengthen the dollar simply by calling in the billions in loans it has given to the rest of the world.
Everything will be fine and the "economy" will balance out regardless if Clinyon, Obama, McCain or James is elected. Contrary to popular belief, the market will take care of itself and isn't controlled by who is in office. It's cyclical and this won't be the last time people yell the sky is falling.

Why would they start in Poland of all places? If GN'R are going to rehash AFD for the millionth time, they'll start in England or France or possibly one of the festivales in Germany. Of all places to start a tour, Poland isn't one of them. Do they even have running water and sewage treatment there?

Haha, good one Bri. Washington is indeed a good win for Obama. I presently reside in Seattle and one of my buddies went to the Democratic Caucus for him today and said it was a landslide victory. But Washington is the only state of importance in this round. Virgin Islands means ABSOLUTELY nothing. If Obama picks up Virgina Tuesday, that will be a big win as well. I still believe it will all come down to Ohio. If Hillary loses Ohio, I think her campaign will be over. That being said, I don't see her losing Ohio and I still hold that the super delegates will side with her. I don't discount Obama's importance, I simply reject this "momentum" many Democrats want to pretend exists. Obama is a strong candidate, but no bigger or successful than Clinton. Clinton still leads Obama in the AP delegate count. Anything can happen, but I still argue Clinton will take it in the end.

I think THIS is the part we disagree with. You are making these vague statements as if they are facts, which they are not. They are your assumptions, or predictions. But certainly NOT facts. It'd be like Dem supporters here saying McCain WILL keep us in Iraq for 4-8 more years, thousands more soldiers killed AND spend Trillions more. Isn't neccesarily true, or a fact. But if McCain said this, do you honestly beleive he would win the general election?!
McCain has said that we will maintain a presence in the middle east much like we have in Europe and Asia. That doesn't mean we will be fighting in the streets of Baghdad 10 years from now. I suggest that none of my arguments are facts in whole or there'd be nothing to discuss. I simply state them based on the best information available and from my perspective. The Democrats will not get us out of Iraq any time soon; no one will. Because of this, they will have to continue to spend on the war and the additional Billions if not trillons on other things they want.

Right, Bush's presidency has been in a time of war where Clinton had no major conflicts or events during his presidency; it was pretty uneventful. You're comparing Apple's to oranges. I think you miss my point. I am as upset as anyone with Bush's fiscal policy. I hope McCain will return to fiscal conservatism as I believe it will help the economy and that I oppose social programs on a philosophical level. I'm not saying socialism can't work, that is afterall the economic policy of the Dems albeit watered down from certain models, but I have yet to see a nation propser under it for a long period of time. You want to take the money we're blowing in Iraq and spend it on something else. I simply want to finish the job in Iraq as quickly as possible and then return the money to the people to spend on what they want rather than have an elitist on either side determine what is best for them.

I'm not talking down to you and if that is how I was perceived, I apologize. I'm simply trying to figure out how you believe electing Hillary or Obama will correct the rampant spending that is hurting the economy. Ecspecially when they will be forced to spend more than Bush ever has with their policies.
