GNR doesn't even really exist does it? I mean, we haven't heard shit from them in 2 years? How could they be more relevant? Poison at least releases stuff, no matter if you like it or not. I happen to not like it. They tour every summer and do well at it. They'll be on the yearend list for moneymakers. And yeah, Bret Michaels has a reality show and is in living rooms all over the country every week.
Hell, last summer the Journey tour sold out like almost every one of its show. Could you believe Journey might be more relevant than GNR? Their songs are still played all over the place and their greatest hits CD is diamond, if your basing your argument on GNR greatest hits.
I've finally faced the facts that many already have and many more will: GNR is just about dead. There is vastly more negative press about GNR than positive. Most GNR articles are filled with shots at the band, jokes at Axl's expense, misinformation, rumor and heresay.
Sorry, GNR

Ever since the "I'm opening for a big band" turned out to be Poison, I care not one thing for anything this guy has to say.
I hear what you're saying, but Poison arguably is more relevant and has been more successful than GNR during GNR's silent era.

I already have. I like coming here to talk, that's about it. I ain't buying Chinese Democracy, that is a fact. Take that however you like.
#4374 Re: Guns N' Roses » Article: Where is the Chinese Democracy album? » 948 weeks ago
Yeah, that might as well have been a post on this forum. True though. GNR's a joke now. Not even a funny one. Just a sad, pathetic, piece of shit one, all dried shriveled and been out in the sun way too long. It was fun while it lasted, but now it's pretty much over.
#4375 Re: The Garden » Hillary = foot in mouth... » 949 weeks ago
Hillary only leads in the polls in like 3 of the primaries/caucuses left. Even if Florida and Michigan get to revote, it's not gonna help her. Before Pa. rolls around, Obama will just build up his lead again, and Hillary might be able to knock a few dozen delegates off of it, but it's not gonna be enough. He will win Wyoming Saturday, Mississippi next week, then he'll be off and running again.
The argument that he can't win the big states in the general election because he's not winning them now is dumb. He's running against a democrat in the primaries. In the general election, he'll be running against McCain, huge difference. The distaste with Bush and the crappy economy will doom him. Just like 92 and the other Bush.

Congrats DTJ. Yeah, enjoy your sleep now. My youngest both are 2 years, 8 months, and I'm still only getting 6 hours a night!

Yeah, Scarlett's right. If you have pancreatic cancer, you're a dead man walking. Sad. I've liked most of his work.

Actually, less than 1 percent of Ohio is in, so I spoke too soon.
#4379 Re: The Garden » Today's Primaries » 949 weeks ago
It's early, but it looks like it will be Hillary winning Ohio, but Obama winning Texas. That pretty much seals Obama's nomination. Pennsylvania is big, but not big enough to help her, plus Obama will win the primaries between now and Pa., which is Mississippi and Wyoming.
Obama also wins Vermont big, getting almost 60 percent, as he's getting in Texas now. That's huge.

If it doesn't leak this year, I'll (you fill in the blank for me).
