Shame. Liked that guy.

One of the few that reported stuff of the controversial sort.

Let it be, Abbey Road & Magical Mystery Tour are all extremely overrated in my opinion.

That guy, outta here!

Let It Be isn't overrated at all. Most people consider it a 'nothing' album.

But you're entitled to an opinion...for now...

De-Loused In The Commatorium
Frances The Mute
Amputechture
The Bedlam In Goliath

...are pretty alright too.

Any GNR fan who doesn't own Beggar's Banquet, Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers, and Exile on Main Street should have to turn in their rock badge and papers. Best 4 album run EVER in rock and roll. Tell me why I'm right or why I'm wrong.

ps...as an addendum to the topic, tell me some of your favorite multiple album runs by an artist. In other words, albums that were released in a row. They don't have to involve the first album. For example, Dylan had a huge three album run with Bringing It All Back Home, Highway 61 Revisted, and Blonde on Blonde (they were his 5th, 6th, and 7th records). Multiple albums in a row that represent the artist at their absolute best.

Lucky for me those are the 4 albums I own then.

Exile is clearly the big brother in that collection, with Beggar and Bleed coming in second. Sticky Fingers is alright, but you can clearly a shift in sound from 60s blues rock to more mainstream rock. Not too big a fan of that, but still some great songs.

The Stones are the closest you get to the heart of rock n' roll. What a band.

Don't sell druggies in middle america short. They can get just as ugly as their big city counterparts.

Back in the late 80's, a few teen boys were murdered near some railroad tracks in Arkansas. Many thought they walked in to a drug deal in progress. I know you have heard of this case before as it usually shows up on the long list of murders/suspicious deaths that happened on Clinton's watch.

Yeah, I've been hammered with that story before.

I'll agree there are tough enough types out there, but would they seriously choose such an open spot when there are plenty of discreet places available? Why would they bring the evidence (the guns) with them?

Then on the other hand, why one in the head and one in the chest (I know there were several)? That is text book "shut em up for good" killing. The mark of a pro.

This case puzzles me as well. I feel there is something we're not being told.

We only have 40 murders a year over here...

But when it happens like this (kids) it's usually sickos. Drug dealers are normally not that tough in the rural areas. If it were they'd have to be hard professionals, and I don't see them making a deal half a mile from a settlement when there are plenty of empty woods.

I dusted off the leaks after being kept on the shelf for about 6 months.

They still hold up.

Not releasing them after all these years would be unprecedented, even for old Ax.

But seriously, I don't know what you're talking about. I'm not a big customer, but the few times I've used it everything has been very smooth. I only order vinyl and concert tickets, if that means anything.:haha:

Ebay ("Feebay") fuckin' sucks, no news there.  I have dealt with Amazon and yahoo auctions a bit as an alternative but just recently checked out "ioffer.com".  Anybody familiar with this place?

How come? I've never had any problems with ebay.
