the ones that dont know that slash is not in the band, yes.

they dont have chinese democracy.
they haven't been to any shows of "new gnr"
and they haven't read any articles in paper or online

im not saying it's a lot of people

maybe  5 percent of the people attending the shows?

just a wild guess

anyone who has no idea that slash is not in the band and is going to the show is there strictly for the fun of seeing a concert and hearing the songs they know.

they are the ones that will go out of convenience and/or impulse.

they are not followers of the band of any era

therefore

some will not notice that slash is not in the band (younger fans or older fans that just listened to the music and nothing more)

others will notice and there initial response will be "where's slash" (older fans who are there for nostalgia that have lost touch with current events with gnr due the time consuming realities of "growing up"

of those two groups the majority will get over it and even more if not all will enjoy the show.

i dont mind him wearing hats but some of them look bad.
i dont mind the bandana either.

in both cases, however, i think his hair l0oks bad hanging out in the back.

it looks damaged.

i would cut it as much as needed in order to regrow a better mane.

if it is thinned to the point that this is no longer possible then id go short.

if you're covering 90 percent of it with hats and bandanas anyways, whats the  point in having it hang out in the back if its damaged?

war

its not a perception

i said "if"

if they are not reading the reviews then its not a concern that this negative part is in them

"if" they are then they'll be prepared if they go.

to address your point:

certainly some people are reading the reviews when considering going with all of the mishaps this band has had while touring over the years.

the band had been much tighter in the past so that wasnt a concern for me.
axl was even worse at the vma's and has always started tours out of singing shape.

i knew things would come around but i never expected it to happen so quickly.

if the reviews are all mentioning the tardiness then the people that are reading them will atleast not be surprised

we need a section dedicated strictly to negativity towards gnr.

then the small handful of people that feel the need to spoil all the fun when something positive happens could go there instead of continuously hijacking and ruining perfectly good threads.

buzz, you could write your "objective" and "non emotional" review of the show you didnt watch in the orlando thread of this section.

and axlin, you and your tears of joy will need to keep your ball sack licking fan boy self out of this section and carry on with your coming to jesus here.

by the way, axlin all the vids ive seen support your review of the show imo.
