Apparently this was a day or two ago. Mind you, Del James or someone did send out some bulletins or something from backstage in 2006 IIRC - so it can happen, but not this time.
Doubt GN'R will be performing either myself. That's why I would be so angry if this turns out to be true - I am quite busy and wasted effectively a large part of an evening for this. Oh, well.... We Guns fans are mad anyway. 'The longest suffering fans on the planet or something'? (bar Brian Wilson's....:haha:)
We both have something to Smile about anyway, I guess.

Now that Mariah Carey has taken to the stage: Pitman said something about this not being true (screenshots were posted). But some say he wouldn't let on on a performance if it was meant to be a surprise?

I am parodying LFO at best. Used to do this stuff all the time at school yearrrrrs ago. Was great fun. Unlike waiting for Axl... as it was during CD, the live shows before, etc..:D

... felt compelled to 'enquire' after having to 'endure' NKOTB - I'll see if 'Mr. Spanish' can maybe shed any light. But where is he when you flippin' need him (J/K - mind you I've been sooo busy lately I've missed all the fun - so if he reads this PM me)?
As for Weiland 'disrupting' the show, as someone at mygnr said...:

Bad choice for a first single. Some will not make it to the part where the music kicks in...they will be at another station. Others will be listening for the hook that isn't there. There's nothing catchy, nothing to sing along to...there's just nothing. Welcome to SBQM II. Choosing this over Better was a fatal mistake.
'Better' is a fatal mistake full stop. You know only recently I got round to hearing the 'Better' that came with the ANTIQUIET leaks - you know that? That's how much I care for the 'song'... sorry, bits and pieces of music all fused together and presented as a 'song', albeit with admittedly good guitar solos from Finck and Bucket.
If the world heard 'Better' it would be an embarrassment to this band. Might as well release 'Silkworms', IMHO.
Four good rockers: 'I.R.S.', 'CD', the much-improved 'Rhiad', and now the Bucket-inspired 'Shackler's'. Hopefully 'Better' will be nothing more than a B-side. Why it's so popular and liked I don't know.
OK... it's a decent song, but easily the weakest of all the new material (bar the earlier stuff + 'Silkworms'), and is not a highlight of the album.
