#41 Re: The Garden » If A Documentary Was Made On The GnR Forums 'Chinese Democracy' era... » 24 weeks ago

That's a good recap. I can just add some minor things I thought was fun:

Fat kid who claimed Axl let him listen to CD in his car.

IRS played on Mike Trunk

Slash showing up at Axl's house.

Buckethead recording in a chicken coop they built for him in the studio.

Some producer sending Axl ideas on tape, only for Axl to pile them up in his driveway and run them over with his car.

Matt Sorum is back in GN’R. Maybe…!

In a recent Instagram post he made, he tagged @gunsnroses

He’s also posted himself warming up on the drums to record for a “secret” project

And for Metallica’s recent charity auction, there is a Matt Sorum UYI Tour bass drum artwork, signed by Matt, that he also signed “GN’R 2024”

Poodle-hair back in 2025 to turn our brains into mashed rice starts now!

Please make it happen. The band needs an abrasive personality. Too much boot licking going on.

Don't see it unless Frank is leaving. Axl never fires a loyal dog.

Obviously the fans want an album, so I guess they've just told us clearly that it's not going to happen. 14

That guy is a sad troll that has been making up shit for years, he made a few fake edits and shit to mess with people and gain relevance. Don't pay attention to him.

Thanks. That is what I suspected.

He acts confident, but sources are anonymous. The 30-40 songs bit sound like obvious bullshit, but I suppose it is not out of realm of possibility that an album is at least planned. The idea that Axl is in the studio right now however does not inspire much confidence.

The tagline for this tour is hilarious.

It is such a mouthful! But somehow it works.

They don't give a fuck, I'll give them that.

I don’t want to get into a whole conspiracy theory here, and I know the totals aren’t all in yet, but it is a little interesting that there were 11 million fewer votes for Harris than Biden and Trump’s vote total was about the same. Did 11 million who voted for Biden just not like Harris enough to vote for anyone this time? I realize the landscape was different with Covid, mail in ballots, etc. but 11 million missing votes is a pretty large amount.

It's an untenable narrative. Supposedly 11 million extra people came out with a strictly anti-Trump vote and suddenly none of these people bother to stop Trump this time around.

Biden had 95% of registered democrats voting for him. That is an insane number. His rallies were empty, so it was obviously not because of enthusiasm for him as a candidate. With Kamala getting none of these extra votes you gotta wonder what the hell is going on.

I stayed up all night watching that count. Trump was way ahead everywhere until suddenly they stopped counting, and then the next day all the votes had apparently gone to Biden.

She wanted to fight WWIII with Russia in Syria.

She's bat shit crazy.

If we gotta have a conflict with Russia, it better be over something a helluva lot more important than Syria.

That's mainly rhetoric. She's not a stupid woman. Corrupt as hell, probably going to start at least one war, but sharp and competent, knows her way around Washington and she's got a big enough ego to do her own thing. I would rather have her in charge than Biden. Trump had the benefit of being a lame duck so his presidency was uneventful, which can be a good thing. But clearly something needs to be done proactively too.

I don't believe for one second that Russia is going to start a major war over Syria. They might over Ukraine, but not a mid eastern country. Perhaps a strong move there would have sent a message and the Ukraine war could be prevented or mitigated. Turkey shot down a Russian plane. Putin did jack shit about it. The Russian posture is 90% bluff. America could benefit from acting tougher.
