Yeah I've read that in the past too. I know he retired because of his neck, but he has stated and Jim Ross has stated that he thought he had another match in him.

Fair enough. To me, though, it was him painting himself as the victim of racist Republicans all over the country. But that's a discussion for another day!

And to try to use the anti-race card as an excuse back against a black man (Obama) who never once used his race to get elected (because if he did, McCain would be prez), it's a little unfair.

He didn't? What about his comment about not looking like the other men on US dollar bills? He ran a brilliant campaign, I'll give him that, but this election was about race to SO many people, with as many using it for him as against him.

That's the good thing about HBK, you know his ego isn't so large that he would pull a Hogan and expect to win. Taker has to keep that streak. How fucked up would it be for him to be, what, 16-1?

I just looked at one of the rumors sites, and they are talking like Hogan might have some involvement with WM this year. Seems a bit odd with the relationship he has with Vince, but who knows.

Hopefully the Taker's streak continues. That's one streak that I don't want to see broken.

From the NY Times Editor and Chief after an Al Sharpton remark

"The cartoon is a clear parody of a current news event, to wit the shooting of a violent chimpanzee in Connecticut. It broadly mocks Washington's efforts to revive the economy. Again, Al Sharpton reveals himself as nothing more than a publicity opportunist."

Is that NY Times or NY Post? I can't see a liberal rag like the NY Times print a cartoon like that, and a response like that.

And yes Sharpton is a publicity whore.

They very easily could set up Mickey Rourke 'sending' someone to represent him in a match... Austin.

That's kinda what I'm thinking.

That's the current rumor that it will be Austin vs. Jericho

I'd love to see one more match from Austin. He was always my favorite. He is supposed to be on Raw Monday, right? Think they'll begin the feud then?

I don't think its racist, but I think someone is begging to be fired because you know pieces of shit like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are licking their chops while looking at this.

No, it relates to the chimpanzee that got loose in the area there and attacked someone I believe. I'm not totally sure how the story goes.

Fuck political correctness.

I was unaware that the chimp passed a stimulus bill before being shot......

I agree with the 'fuck political correctness' mantra, but this is a step out of bounds.

Ya know, after looking at the cartoon a little more, I can see your point. Especially in this politically correct world, they would have to know that you can't have a picture of an ape and have some bleeding-heart tell you that you're racist.
