I woke up in the middle of the night & put on the radio, it was about 4 or 5am Sunday. Talk radio, was a right leaning syndicated show (far right, I forget its name).  They were noticably all in on the Mueller shut down/firing. Saying it needs to be done etc. Seemed pretty fabricated. Came off more like a pre recorded scripted show, kinda like those direct response infomercials, not like Hannity or Mark Levin type call in.

Anyway yeah I definitely felt they were setting the tone for it. Surely with Trump now saying "No" to firing Mueller that changes things. Only thing I could think of is if they put out another group of texts emails with info & Trump says "Ok, well now thats it. I'll end this now".

Interesting thought though, about something going down this week. I bet your right, it could be Kushner.

I guess technically Trump could be telling the truth, since apparently by law he can't fire Mueller. The AG must do that. However a report came out today that said Trump considered deputy AG Rosenstein a "threat to his presidency." So in theory Trump could fire Rosenstein, and replace him with some stooge that would 86 Mueller. That would still be obvious obstruction of justice IMO.

They are now claiming the emails from Trump's transition team, reviewed by Mueller as early as September, were taken illegally. Now that's rich. On one hand we have Trump, who openly asked a tool of the Russian government (Wikileaks, I love Wikileaks!) to release more of Clinton's emails. That's OK. But now his attorneys are claiming Mueller broke some law, which is patently false, and these emails should not be admissible for the investigation. Keep in mind that Mueller has been giving lengthy interviews to WH staff over the last several weeks. Surely he's been quizzing them on particulars inside those emails. That may be another reason they are freaking out. They now know that Mueller has those emails and is asking questions that he already has answers to. Easy to catch somebody in a lie.

Trump had a good week last week.

I am starting to get worried the stock market is just way too over heated.  Holy shit.  We are at almost 25,000.

Trump's approval rating is the lowest of any president in his first year. Roy Moore, who he endorsed, lost in Alabama. Not sure how this is a good week. The majority of Americans overwhelmingly do not like this tax plan and believe it will hurt them.

I felt it was overbought at 20k. If this tax bill becomes law, it's going to get worse.

Talked about briefly many pages back, but buried under the constant stream of news. Worth a revisit (2 minutes long):

Trump and his state TV channel have gone full nuclear the last few days. Zeroing in on Mueller. The GOP has joined in and now want to investigate the FBI.

Aside from the fact that this is completely ridiculous, we must look at the history here. Preceding every indictment or witness deal/guilty plea team Trump went on the offensive. It's quite clear they're in attack mode this last week, full throttle. They're not doing this out of the blue.

So that begs the question: Is somebody going down this week? If so, who? Kushner?

All these talk about that FBI agent is non sense. It's not even worth acknowleding, but since people keep repeating this crap it should be addressed I suppose. The agent blasted Democrats as well as Republicans in his texts. He was also fired. It has little to no bearing on this investigation as whole. The sole purpose is to muddy the waters and discredit Mueller so they can fire him.

And that's what we have now: Anti American fascists who smear our FBI, thumb their nose at the law, dismiss the Constitution and project all their insanity on everybody else.

They're brilliant at propaganda techniques such as "Whataboutism" and claiming the other side is partisan. I'll give them that. They're even better at getting these little bootlicks to spread propaganda for them. These are weak men who are easily swayed or simply look up to authoritarians like Trump.

I think this is more definitive. Previously it was unsubstatiated and Trumps lawyers denied it. Seems like no denying it at this point.

Correct, it wasn't as specific last week, and as you said...denied by Trump's lawyers. Mueller is getting too close, that's why they want to shut it all down. Criminal really. Just criminal. If you believe in the rule of law, then allow the investigation to continue. They had a dozen on Hillary at least, yet can't seem to see much of a reason here. This shouldn't be a partisan thing anymore. If you care about your country at all...

I personally am a huge winner but i fear greatly for the last Big term consequences.

Big term consequences for this country would be an understatement. Short term WS gains, and long term wins for those who need it least. All while cutting the safety net for the most vulnerable Americans, millions of children without healthcare. It's immoral and as I said prior, it will hurt us when we come up on the next recession. What are the going to do? Cut taxes again? But that's the GOP ideology for you: Always cuts taxes and always more guns. Regardless of what's going on all around them.

And what happened to the fiscal conservatives? ha, nowhere to be seen...UNTIL the tax bill passes, and then they say we can't afford entitlements anymore. Anybody who is middle class that was stupid enough to vote for Trump/GOP deserves everything they get IMO. What's sad are the people who did not, who will pay the price in the long run for this craziness.

Between this tax bill and the clear intent to fire Mueller, they're hell bent on turning us into a banana republic.

Trump just said "I don't want to talk about pardons yet."

I bet you he pardons Flynn right around Christmas or NYE.

And fire Mueller after the tax plan is passed...

If those both go down, we're in the middle of a constitutional crisis IMO.
