Bush is a douchebag. Seriously, probably the worst President since at least 1950, likely longer.

BTW - You're screen name is eerily similar to mine..? Care to explain?
my screen mane is similar to yours because i was trying to be like you. i want to be you.you are my hero. i want to skin you alive and wear your skin so that i know what it's like to be you. i watch you at night through your window. i think about you all the time........................
All the ways you wish you could be, that's me. I look like you wanna look, I fuck like you wanna fuck, I am smart, capable, and most importantly, I am free in all the ways that you are not.
j/k, my life's pretty boring. Drink beer, watch tv, go out once in a while.

PSYCHO 1998 - no stars - waste of time
A truely pathetic remake, that is awful at all turns. This is the Ishtar-remake of horror films. One of the worst films i've ever watched.
That one was terrible. It just didn't need to be made either.

I certainly don't want non-citizens capable of running our government. Our Constituion prevents any non-natural born citizen from running for starters, and I have no interest in people who have nothing to lose coming to America and changing our laws to fit what worked in their small and culturally cohesive European country.
.
Out of curiousity, would you be opposed to Swarzeneger?? Just wondering.. (It won't happen, but just wondering)

Riddle me this. If the electoral vote comes out to be 269 -269 (something well within possibility) who do you think Congress is going to appoint as President. Will of the people be damned. They're going to follow right down party lines and guess who holds more seats?
IIRC it goes to the House, and I think the Dems have more seats. The VP goes to the Senate, and while Lieberman would make it 50-50 with Cheny the deciding factor, the funny thing is there is talk a few Republicans would vote Biden over Palin as VP, authoriing a Democratic ticket. Another thing is there is debate over whether it's the current Congress, or the next one. (Somewhere it states they vote "Immediately" yet somewhere else it states the vote is done January 5th or something). So it's possible the Dems would hold a majority next year.
Also, Nebraska splits there college & Obama will likely win the 1 Omaha college vote & I think that throws a monkeywrech into the math adding up to 269.

Finally, Florida has been solved for 8 years now. Bush won it fair in square. Those ballots were counted many times over and Bush came up as the victor every time.
Do you know how many thousand ballots were not counted in highly Democratic Palm Beach County?? Gore issued a legimate and allowed recount to which Bush sued because the precinct was favorably Democratic. Gore appealed to the Florida Supreme Court & Bush then appealed to the Supreme Court. The Supreme (Partisan) Court voted that the recount would not be done because the deadline has since passed, even though the courts previously put a stop to the recount.
Oh, and most of those retirees who filled out the ballots you mocked that "cannot follow the law" are called "Senior Citizens" and "Retirees". Hence, they live in Florida.

Let me add that this is total mental masturbation and I have no delusion that something like this would ever happen. Since the majority of Americans have never done anything in that
Yeah, I kinda figured that which is why I didn't bash you for it. Overall it's not a horrible idea idealistically... It will never happen, but one of those things that probably might make for possibly a better country. I have similar ideas sometimes. Only it would reduce our country & citizens from being "free" to do what we want. Also, requiring people to serve would basically put us into a military state, something which we are not.

^^ I do have to ask what would you want done with those who fail the service or exam?? Send them somewhere (Where?), or just have them reside here without being card carrying citizens?!
#5509 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » Duff's talking about a possible Reunion (March, 2008) » 920 weeks ago
Just fucking do it already.. Geeez Congress gets things done faster than these guys!!
VR sucks & GnR is non-existant!! I'd pay a couple hundred for great seats to an original GnR member show. For VR or GnR I'd go, but not nearly as enthusiastic about it, depending on VR's next singer, if they ever get one. Not that the price matters, but just sayin' that sometimes the whole is alot greater than the sum of all it's parts.
