When CD was the first single and you could stream it online with the count down clock, I sent the link to a heap of people. A number of them were saying the link wasn't working and they couldn't hear anything. What actually was happening is they were looking at the link, but the intro to the song was taking so long they ended up closing it because they didn't think it was working.

Awesome, I always think its a good idea to get a pet from the animal shelter if you can.

Classic how he's got his lipstick out for the pic too.

Watch This was great but also disappointing.  I would have loved to have heard vocals from Grohl on that, it would have taken it to a whole other level.  I still don't really understand his reason for not singing on it, he said something about being burnt doing this sort of thing before and how it finished up or something?

He's definitely over talking about Guns.  He started to get a bit snakey when they were trying to ask him about the AFD 25th anniversary - he thought it was some other GNR question coming. Can't say I blame him though.

So another album with Myles next year by the sounds of things.  Great that we are getting more material, although I also feel it's somewhat of a missed opportunity.  Myles just doesn't fit quite right on enough of the material for my liking.  But I'll take it over nothing.

Maybe if the label thinks a reunion with the original lineup and new album is just too slim, then they negotiate for reissues of the back catalogue.  Boxsets, remasters etc etc.  All the shit we want but can't have.

Axl can then be released to do his CDII on his own, funding it himself and reaping the benefits (if any) himself.

My opinion: current "management" will never, ever be responsible for new music being released. Ever.

Well, I disagree. The Brazil Team's luxury living is based on Axl's income, and even if they're making more money off touring than any possible album now, they'll need a new record to sell the next tours. They just can't sell this same show nostalgia trip anymore in the US and I think that they'll have more and more problems with selling it in Europe, too. The world map is getting smaller and smaller for them.

I'm sure that at one point the Lebeis family will convince both Axl and the label to negotiate a new contract. With more 'Guns N' Roses' albums secured, Uni will release the new stuff till the 'Big Reunion Pay-Off' comes (till hell freezes over) and Axl can tour years with the CD follow-up(s), so he (and his new family) will win time to live their luxury life without being forced into the reunion. GN'R albums will still sell relatively well, based on the name alone, and if next time it's quality music, than that's even better. With a new contract none of them can lose, just win.

(It's another question though if Axl's able to finish any new material in his lifetime, but he still has some old BH/Finck/Tobias stuff in his vault.)

Great post this sums up my thoughts on the situation too. They will convince Axl to drop another album so the tour cycle and therefore the dollars can continue.

I'm guessing with the Lebeis' snouts most likely in the trough now to some degree, Im Betting there is probably a good chance of a new album. I will bet they will move heaven and earth to try and make it happen if it means it puts another buck in their personal coffers.

Yeah the "we" thing stood out like dogs balls to me too.

That's disgusting reading that shit. No respect for Ron and his condition at all, in fact they try and diminish it.

If people, feel that Ron shouldn't vent publically then jokers like Fernando and Jarmo should definitely shut their fucken pie holes!
