Well now that you say it... We never heard The General, so only version we will probably hear is the finished version with slash, and I'm sure that will bring us new questions about it's original sound sins there is no way to compare it to early version.. So will you be contempt with just new version or will there be desire for original?

Imagine Axl going to Joe Rogan and using that opportunity to promote new songs. So many stores to share in general and new songs which could be an interesting conversation starters..
I mean, how many people casually listen to that podcast and would just check out new songs, great promotion opportunity to people who don't just turn on interviews and TV..
But again, I might be wrong..

Does he say anywhere it is GNR? It does not match the production of the other demos we’ve heard, so this must be a cover version, but it definitely has the drama we have come to expect from these sessions. And a memorable melody! If it is his original composition, good for him.
I don't think he says it, my train of thought was since he has uploaded demos of atlas, perhaps and silkworms, that this is a reference to GnR, but since the other uploaded songs don't match any other GnR songs I'm highly skeptical

But it's a bit sad that he says that he thinks they are trying to put a single out. Seems not that involved, but good to hear songs are planed at least

It's nice to hear, but a little sad too in a way.. We already have perhaps, but I wonder how the cover art will look like and again, nice to know that something is happening and that shit is getting done

Incredible, but hard to grasp totally different lyrics and to think that evader got most of them wrong. I'm not a native speaker so I wouldn't have been able to understand any of them, but great job. Bravo
