That's just the 80's buddy. Plenty of shit to go 'round.
I haven't even gotten started on part of the 90's and the 2000's when Jon wanted to turn BJ into a country band.
Now he basically tours the band as housewife porn, performing Train-level songs.
Michael Bolton is more of a bad ass than Jon Bon Jovi
" And now I don't know why
She wouldn't say goodbye
But then it seems that I
Had seen it in her eyes"Nursery rhyme shite. I`m sorry but it blows chunks. Nothing wrong with one or two uptempo ballads once in a while but This I Shit is beyond bad but hey, you have to hand it to Axl he has balls to perform this turd at every gig.
I'm amazed Jon can even go out of the house with his head held up. Richard Marx points and laughs at him and remarks, "what a fuckin' pussy"
Granted, this isn't me attacking Jon or the band Bon Jovi. It really isn't.
But This I Love + Robin, let alone Slash, crushes the majority of their catalog.

This I Love is apparently, in any form, worse than these following songs...
#53 Re: Guns N' Roses » Better - Studio Version of 2016 Live Arrangement(fan mix) » 463 weeks ago
Are you fucking kidding me?
This I Love is worse than... not even Bon Jovi has a song as bad as This I Love... wow. You're either trollin' or you're challenging me to destroy you. Either way... it's coming.

Agreed.
I'd take DC over Marvel any day. I just don't dig the overabundance of the tonque-in-cheek shit with Marvel. It actually kind of burned me out with them. It was one thing with Tony Stark & Robert Downey, Jr. & Iron Man. That's cool. That's Rob's character, and blah blah blah. But then they did it... again... and again... and again. Guardians, Deadpool, Ant Man. Even when DC freaked everyone in 1988 and decided to hire, then comedy-actor Michael Keaton, to play Bruce Wayne/Batman, people feared a return to Batmania in the 60's. Yet Keaton not only delivered a dark, dramatic performance... i'd argue that Batman Returns in 1992, might be one of Keaton's greatest cinematic performances. Just stellar from beginning to end, getting the nuisances that make HIS Wayne/Batman. What became the definition for THE Batman performance, until Christian Bale, and i'd argue Affleck on BvS was better than Bale in the entire TDK Trilogy.
As for The Killing Joke anime, I felt it was solid as well. Especially to go R-rated with it. All I heard was complains that it wasn't a proper Batgirl story and that everyone was pissed off because Barbara Gordon/Batgirl had a relationship with Bruce/Batman in it and that infuriated everyone.
I've never understood why shipping Batgirl/Batman has always sent the fanboy crowd into hysteria. To me, despite the obvious age difference, i've always thought it made perfect sense. Hooking up Barbara with her innocence of crime-fighting is the perfect counter to his burnt out wanting to die version of Batman. Hooking Barbara up with Dick Grayson/Tim Drake/Robin, is boring, although i'd prefer Nightwing to Robin. I can see the Dick Grayson connection to her.
Either way, to me it's the perfect relationship, and i've never understood why it wasn't, other than people who wanted him with some sort of badgirl, Talia Al Ghul/Catwoman-scenario.
To me, if the story were to organically move on, it made perfect sense. Bruce reconciles his parents, fails to save his love -- Batgirl -- from Joker, she gets paralyzed and becomes Oracle. Alfred then dies, and Oracle becomes the mother hen over Bruce, hung up over failing to save her from Joker, while continuing his quasi-love/comrade relationship with Oracle, with a deceased Alfred.
imho
Never understood why the fanboys freaked out about that kind of scenario. Alfred has to eventually meet his maker, lol.

To be fair monkey, I hated the performance so much, I barely listened to it, but just once all the way through, then little snippets. What I heard... I did not like.
So as far as Slash goes, you might be spot on on the Bucket solo. I felt that was where Slash failed Catcher, and frankly Better as well. He was paying too much homage to songs that needed complete rebuilds from him. This I Love? He's finally got that fucker down to being November Rain 2016, like Axl always wanted it to be back in 1995. TIL sounds so good, I refuse to listen to anything that came before now. Seeing Slash do it live has ruined me, I about cummed during the performance of that song. It was everything the fanboy in me dreamed about for nearly a decade.
Catcher, whoever... EVER... made the decision to let Bumblefoot rape that song, pick up Slash's V guitar and do this...
Full Jason Takes Manhattan treatment. UGH, the fact that Slash decided to re-do Ron's stuff, rather than Brian May's... UGH... someone PLEASE slide Slash a copy of the Queen-ized 1999 demo, so the song can sound right again. Other than Brian himself, or possibly Paul Gilbert or Bucket, the ONLY guy that could right that ship would be the top-hatted one.
I wish someone would fucking BURY that studio version of Catcher. I hate it more now than in 2008, when I felt it was a downgrade.
So yeah, to whoever made that decision to keep it alive, watch above said video and keep repeating it as the guitar swings.

There is so much BULLSHIT in this campaign from Clinton and the globalists and their fake poll numbers.
Clinton struggles to get hundreds at a rally. Trump has standing room-only in a fucking arena/stadium.
But yeah, Hillary is gonna slay him come November.
It's all a roose.
Trump will be the people's candidate, regardless of what they pull or what the corporate media tells you. ALL of it has become clickbait.
What makes me sad, is how quickly Bernie just... gave up. They stole the nomination from him, no investigations, DNC chairwoman steps down, DNC staffers dead, Julian Assange e-mail leaks showing she's a cunt-ass liar, like we knew she was, leaked photos of her barely able to walk and stand and looking like she has brain damage, and regardless of Trump, the collusion within the DNC... it was worth at least... a look? A night a 20/20 or 48 Hours doc for an hour...
Nope
Big bang boom it's over, Trump's a racist, Hillary is the American pope, Trump's getting slayed in battle states Hillary has to pay 300 people to show up at...
If Hilary was Bush, man there would already be a 5-part Frontline series on her
A wise man told me recently that the vote has always been rigged. I asked why, "because if it meant anything... they wouldn't allow us to do it"
This election has never been more obvious of that
#57 Re: Guns N' Roses » Australia in Feb '17 » 463 weeks ago
Congrats to all of the 'roos and Golems and my personal favorite, marsupial Werewolves (thx Howling III) that are getting an Australian/NZ tour.
And a shout out to Japan too. Cool they're taking this thing global... like we always knew they would. You don't put something THIS BIG together and not work it for years and years. Hopefully in the down time year in a few weeks, they'll get some stuff squared away about making sure a best-of and/or possibly a live CD/DVD or something is in stores for Christmas in the states to put a cap on the successful relaunch of GN'F'N'R's.

One other thing.....you mentioned the lack of youth at the show.
While they're having no problems on this tour, if you want the youth, you need a single. Its all about the hot single now. I imagine they can pull in a certain amount of youth just on how epic the event is overall but other than that......you need to be on the charts.

Fuck the Millenials. This is for the true fans. Haha. This is for everyone that waited since 1993. If young folks come, great, but they don't "get it" for the most part outside the forums.
http://www.alternativenation.net/why-ch … er-chance/
This article from Lauryn Schaffner at Alt. Nation REALLY explains (while kinda missing the point, although her point is different than mine) what I was getting at.
This girl goes to interview people at the New Jersey show, and most of these people are nothing more than casuals who have Greatest Hits saved on Spotify and nothing more, and have never really listened to the band. They are either so young, they are clueless as to the history of GN'R, clueless to the history of Chinese Democracy, and know nothing more than the Zeitgeist of the band passed down from the media for the last 20 years... Axl's a racist dick, the band broke up, there is no GN'R without Slash, fuck Bucket (who's that?), free Tibet, where's the beef?, etc.
Brainless zombies, full They Live-style.
Then you have the old school casuals who haven't even been to a fucking rock show since Guns N' Roses in 1993. These people, IDIOTS, call Eddie Trunk's satellite radio-call in show all time, and they're fucking morons
Case in point...
This dumbass calls Eddie back in May to ask Eddie when W.A.S.P. are ever gonna get back together and record an album, not referencing the breakup in the early 2000's between Blackie Lawless & Chris Holmes, but the WHOLE band... when will they get back together and record a new album, WHEN THEY NEVER STOPPED!!! They've BEEN recording albums FOR YEARS. They've put out a couple in the last couple years, and Golgatha actually made several top-10 lists for metal album of the year across the 'net. Granted they tour Europe mostly, but still. There music is a point and click away. Literally THE EASIEST WAY IN HUMAN HISTORY TO ACCESS NEW MUSIC.
And this dumbass can't even do that.
And like Eddie explains, if you're waiting for MTV, or VH1, or AXS, or MuchMusic or the BBC, or the mainstream corporate media, who actually have recently covered GN'R on the recent local stadium shows just because of sheer magnitude of the reunion, if you're waiting for those guys to tell you what's going on.... wait for Jesus, because he'll be here sooner.
A-LOT of THOSE type of old school GN'R fans are showing up for these stadium shows. People that I saw go to the beer line for the deep cuts like Coma & Estranged from UYI, and many of these people could care FUCKING LESS that Coma was being played.
Coma
COMA
MOTHER FUCKING COMA
And you expect them to give a shit about Chinese Democracy? Most of these people were clueless when Duff played You Can't Put Your Arms Around A Memory & Attitude, and i'm assuming Raw Power at the other shows. Forget fans who are waiting for a Dizzy solo with Street of Dreams. They might leave and never come back. But when LALD, or Civil War, or KOHD or Don't Cry was played, along with the old school covers like Wish You Were Here, Godfather & Seeker... they were all ears. Some even sang along.
So again, some of these people are clueless about Chinese, because they're clueless about GN'R. They have one album Greatest Hits and/or the Spotify 'Best-of' playlist. Most of these people never even followed Velvet Revolver, let alone Chinese.
So again... Chinese takes a bad wrap, because THE MEDIA and a certain generation have decided (like Halloween III) to make it the bastard child of a generation, when the explanation is a bit more deep, yet more simple than that.
But as far as before... kudos to the girl who tried to write an article to give Chinese a second look and second chance. And like Halloween III: Season of the Witch, I truly believe there's a generation down the line that will look at that album one day as a lost album of greatness, when others (including radio stations I called who REFUSED to play that album in 2008, because FUCK GN'R without Slash), who are nothing more than fucking shit lobbing chimps that know nothing about the band, they're just fucking posers who show up to be seen because it's the most popular thing at the moment.
Next week they'll be pointing and laughing at GN'R while they attend a fucking Katy Perry show. They aren't ALL fans... but alot of them, sadly, yes. Every artist gets the bandwagoners. Just like when the Red Sox finally broke the curse and won a World Series in 2004, suddenly by 2005, every fucking body suddenly were long-time diehard Red Sox fans, even though they lived in One Gator, Florida and couldn't name you one mother fucker on the team not named Johnny goddamn cavement Damon.
*rant over*

I've never.. ever like the song live.
So for me... it's business as usual.

Axl knows he has the trump card with Slash, which is what the label has wanted all along, right? Axl is King Dick and he knows it. Look at the shows, have you ever seen him this smug and happy?
This
Axl's got a J.R.-grin all day long, and I haven't seen him this happy since the early days of AFD, when the band finally started getting recognized and MTV was so far up his ass that he was telling them openly he was a cuckold on live TV, and they championed what a bad ass rock n' roller he was.
Axl's sittin' in the cat bird's seat, and he knows it. He's fronting 2/3 of the only stadium rock acts left, making the biggest paycheck of his life, walked out the door one day and became the biggest rock star in the world again after what amounts to a 23-year nap, people have instantly forgave him of all his transgressions dating back to 1988 and OIAM, simply because Slash is back, and what else.... the pussy and ass he's hitting just got hotter & younger?
The guy has it fucking made right now, and makes 50% of the take right off the top. WITH Slash involved. The brand name that was his burden in the years after 1993, has become the single biggest protector of him, and is finally NOW appreciating and the money is rolling in. Its a J.R. deal if I ever saw one.
But like J.R., the only man big enough to take down Axl Rose... is Axl Rose.
He should be smart. Show up on time. Keep his mouth shut. Stay FAR away from controversy. Lead the private life if he has too. And Slash & Duff can record on the old vault, music Axl recorded 15 years ago and saved for a rainy day will be released without him lifting a finger.
And the money will keep rolling in. Keep Slash happy.
But any false steps, any ill-timed comments... everything will be HIS fault. And they will turn on him like a rabid dog.
