#6061 Re: The Sunset Strip » Top-20 Movies That Make Men Cry » 935 weeks ago

I think 5 of these may have got me close to tears, the other 15 I cannot figure out why they are on this list??

I like underdog movies, the down & outs, the "you got no shot kid" movies. Rocky, Rudy, Miracle.

If Romo fails I can see Dallas signing Vick for next year.

Bush really fucked this country up. It's hard to imagine sending troops into Afghanistan/Pakistan to fight Al Qaeida while things are fucked up in Iraq. If we pull out of Iraq too soon the whole middle east will be a bees nest, but if we stay too long we may not be doing an effecient job, as we've been helping them become a democracy for 5+ years now already.

Not trying to become partisan, but Bush also fucked up the GOP. They lost the congress in 2006, will likely lose more seats this year, and Obama has a very solid shot at becoming President. If Obama manages to do a good job as President, a tough enough challenege as is but if outside factors help him like the Stock Market booms, housing crisis rebalances, and new technologies help the economy, the Republican party would really be in shambles. I'm not saying Obama WILL do these things, or it will happen, but if it does.

I usually just use Craigslist, you get less $$, but it's soo much easier & just pick it up, no shipping.

Wasn't Mike loaded because his mother had the patent for "White-out" & sold it to 3M??

I don't know Incognito, or any posters on other forums for that matter, however I could care less if he did have 99 CD or a new Maddy. The other song interests me. Pretty cool idea to offer his stimulus $300 for it, but overall I gotta agree & put up the  2

The potential to have all new members and sold as KISS is much different than releasing dolls, lunchboxes, etc.

NYG 100% of America agrees with you on this. This show will be similar to Rockstar Supernova, possibly an entertaining show, with some watercooler talk contestants, but once the show is over. Lights out!! No way this KISS 2 ever becomes anything more than the one time opener for the next KISS tour & probably 1 poorly selling album (a la Rockstar Supernova). I could care less about a KISS cover band, I'll probably watch the show, because I like the band audition setup & watched Rockstar, but the band will be nothing more than a possible touring tribute band with no known originals.

Yep, KISS made their legacy be the epitomy of selling out. I was a kid in the late 70's, and remember the KISS dolls, lunchboxes, Halloween masks etc. They even had an atrocious movie for crying out loud. They dwindled away in the 80's, but came back as a reuinion with their makeup in 96. As a now young adult, I was shocked at how much demand there was for KISS. It was funny they were back, personally I had no desire to see them in concert. They were like comic book hero's to me, that of which I outgrew. But I don't give them much credibility in the music world, they were commercial from the start.

KISS plans worst reality show idea ever!!

j/k, looks like they're getting a cover band then touring with them as the opening act. Still pretty stupid.
I guess it'll be like Rock Star Supernova. I wonder if they're looking for a mix of acts (best singer/guitarist/drummer etc) or just pick the best current band as a unit.

Ashame, he was a great player for so many years, but it is time. What better way to leave than the SB victory they just had?!
