If new songs leak, I'd kill to hear the one that Axl said Robin played a solo along the lines of SVR in.
Yeah that SRV solo HAVE to be sick!! Maybe I'll just let you figure out which one it is and I'll just download that one!

I'm not to crazy about TOO MUCH licensing, but MAYBE they should have picked better songs and outlets!

I guess it's hard to pull of a tour when you leave it up to friends and "family" to organize it!
I remember back in May/June 2010, they discussed Axl on Norwegian radio. The topic was "Love him or hate him?" One of the hosts (the most famous music-journalist in Norway), made a point about how fucked up it is that "this wierd Brazilian family" runs the day to day stuff involving GNR/Axl.
Sure he has Doc McGhee now, or does he? But a lot of stuff still seems to be handled by close family and friends he thinks he can trust.
It's sad to see other bandmembers suffering from their lack organizational skills...

I get your point on the "One Man Mutiny" thing. But I'm not sure I see it the same way.
If Kirk Hammet decided to release a song for free with himself on guitar/vocals with Lars Ulrich and Rob Trojillo "sitting in" on it, is it then a Metallica song?
In the manner of its release to the public, imo, it wouldn't feel like a free Metallica song?
If "One Man Mutiny" was released on the next GNR-album, I guess I would feel different about it. Just like the songs from UYI which featured Izzy on lead vocals, it was released as a GNR song.
It's not so black and white... To me anyway!
