She looks wierd actually, overly made up or something. I thought she was normally a cute girl, maybe I'm thinking of someone else.

It was summer before my senior year of high school. I remember my brother coming home in his '74 Camaro listening to it, & telling me about it when he came inside.
When you first heard Nirvana's Teen Spirit.

I used to collect Arizona Iced Tea bottles. Had about a dozen or more of 'em. Then when I moved a few years ago I tossed them out. That's about it.

Yeah, definitely a historic day, considering he's been in power since JFK. Long time coming. I'd hope they can accept whoever replaces him, and not need infighting. Also hope the US would lift the embargo if whomever takes over is more acceptable. If so, cigars all around, on me.

Sorry to hear that Tommie.

If it's a job you'd like, take it. If not don't. It could be a scam to get you to sign up. Do what you want, not what someone says you should do.
#6417 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » Are/Were you a Scott Weiland/STP Fan? » 951 weeks ago
But after the recent VR Aussie tour cancellation my patience for Scott Weiland is wearing thin.
It's hard to support a guy who doesn't seem to care too much about himself or his fans.
And yet you're posting this on a GnR message board?!
Just kidding bro, sucks about the cancelled shows.
As for me, it took me a loooooong time to warm up to STP. Bascially, I didn't like them at all in the 90's. I still think they're ok, certainly not the upper echelon of 90's rock (AIC, PJ, Soundgarden, RHCP Nirvana). I warmed up to them around 00-01, just got to thinking, you know, for their longevity, and number of decent songs they've put out, I gotta give them a little credit. I always liked Interstate Love Song, and Sex Type thing. I think DeLeo is an underrated lead guitarist, and helped make that band. STP is one of those things you kinda had to live thru to understand all the "copycat" comparisons (Staley, Vedder). And I gotta agree with Aussie on the megaphone he uses, he bit that off Perry Farrell of Jane's, IMHO at least.
Anyway, a decent band, just not a top tier band. 2nd level, somewhere in between Rage & Offspring of 90's rock. Also, funny how Brits don't understand why STP is big here & Americans don't understand why Oasis is big there. They must be about equal in counterparts.

Cool song, I never knew what he said there though after 'scratch the itch'

That's crazy. Wierd it was written on Wednesday night, a day before the Illinois killngs too. Wonder if that changed anything or enhanced police taking it more serious. Maybe the other shooter stile his thunder a little.
"There's a lot of security, a lot of cops and teachers in the hallways," MacArthur senior Bobby Ross, 18, said.
"It's a prank," he said. "I'm sure it would never happen."
Some quotes from kids & students make me laugh. If the township acted like this & something did happen, he'd be the first one complaining and pointing the finger.
