I'll also tell you I've never owned a gun and went shooting one time with family and didn't enjoy it, so I'm anything but a gun nut. What I am is a realist.

50 million.
Do they need to own AK-47's or have the ability of shooting more than 10 rounds at a time or something?
Let's ban assault rifles & high round magazines for all guns. They'll become collectors items & teens won't be able to afford them, those who can will sound like rejects & older collectors won't sell to them because it'll get traced back to them for the sale from cell phone & email records.
I say we ditch the China Tariff & raise the tax on bullets incrementally like we've done on cigarettes the past 2 decades. I remember smokes sub $2, now they hover around $10 (I don't smoke, never really did just when I was younger mostly at parties & when drinking)
Do you know why we have a 2nd ammendment? I'll give you a hint...its not for hunting.

Not the only country where this happens, but even if I humored you and we pretend it is the reason isn't legal gun sales.
How many people in the US own guns that never kill anyone much less multiple people? An exact number isn't necessary, just a guesstimate.

There is no answer for this guys. I mean you can throw all the resources and all the money at this that you want to with background checks and what have you. It won't make a difference...much like drug testing all those sweet, innocent welfare people to catch the few bad eggs was a waste of resources.

They're going to have to do universal background checks, and really treat these assholes like terrorists. White supremacist, incels and ANTIFA (who tried to commit a mass shooting last week or so) all need to be treated, investigated and watched like ISIS. Any group that advocates violence.
And for God sakes stop spreading their manifestos, stop giving out their names until they can pull all their social media.
As American as apple pie
Can you go one day without being a cunt?

Trump either has to do something so stupid his people won't support him (unlikely), have the economy tank (not impossible), or some moderate separates themselves on the democratic side (unlikely given the power of the squad).
There is no chance a socialist can beat him and socialists have shown they won't show up to support a moderate. Right now changing that might be their best hope.

I'm not fine with him being a cunt. In fact it pisses me and I assume a lot of others right off, but you guys are no better! None of you can ever admit you are wrong and believe me you are all wrong a lot!
But you allow him to continue, which means you are fine with it. Everything is directed at one person, who responds to nothing but being insulted. Every other poster has posted things that are thought out and on topic. One guy comes along and since he can't respond intelligently to the discussion since it's so far over his head starts insulting people that don't agree 100% with him. It's happened over and over, but nobody ever does anything about it. Then he went on his racist rant that was even denounced by his strongest supporter. How did you handle that? You didn't.
This is what one person can do to an otherwise civil discussion. I don't always agree with PA or ID or Bri, but we don't sit here and call each other names when we disagree. There are a lot of things I philosophically disagree with, yet can understand why people feel that way (even if I think they are wrong). Mitch can't understand how anyone can disagree with him, but the bigger issue is that can't state his position coherently enough to spark any kind of discussion. You disagree with him? You're a Fox News parrot or racist or sexist or whatever the liberal talking track of the day is. He literally cannot participate in this thread without that because it's so far over his emotional IQ for him to participate. So he acts like a douche. You cannot engage him any other way than which he has been engaged recently. It's the only field where he can participate.
I repeat: he should have been banned the instant he went on his racist rant. Being a douche is one thing; being a racist while accusing anyone that doesn't agree with him of being a racist is beyond unacceptable.

There's one cunt ruining it for everyone. Look for the one figure in every controversy. But if you're fine with him being a cunt, I am fine destroying him over and over again until someone mans up and puts a stop to him.
He should have been instabanned the second he made that racist post.

The irony of mitch telling others they need a safe space. He's clearly ready to go...
