I've never had that jager stuff, I want to try it.

Do you like black licorice?  It tastes a lot like that, but liquid and with alcohol.  Pretty awesome if you ask me.  I'm drunk right now though.  So take my opinion as you will.

I can only tolerate the jagerbombs after I've been drinking.  I normally don't like black licorice, but when Red Bull is incorporated into a shot it makes it all the more interesting.

I've actually been having a similar problem since I came back after Christmas.  Sometimes my computer likes to boot, other times it gets stuck trying to locate the hard drives.  It solves itself if I enter the boot screen and make no changes or if I manually reboot a couple of times.  I'm thinking it's a motherboard issue (computer's almost five years old, and motherboards generally go first), but I know dick about hardware problems.

That one's always baffled me so I googled it.  Apparently they say "Schlemiel, schlimazel, hasenpfeffer incorporated!"

Here's an answer I found:

The Wikipedia entry for the "Laverne & Shirley" show provides the
opening phrase for us.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laverne_and_Shirley

"In the beginning, the girls are skipping down the street, arm in
arm, reciting a hopscotch chant : 'One, two, three, four, five, six,
seven, eight! Schlemiel! Schlimazel! Hasenpfeffer Incorporated!'"

Schlemiel and schlimazel are Yiddish words, defined by the online
Free Dictionary as follows.

Schlemiel.
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/schlemiel

"A habitual bungler; a dolt"

Schlimazel.
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/schlimazel

"An extremely unlucky or inept person; a habitual failure."

This "Word for the Weak" archive entry points out that the two are
usually linked together.
http://jonzer.com/blog/archives/2005_08.html

"A schlimazel can be concisely described as a born loser. No discussion
of schlimazel could be complete without mentioning his counterpart:
schlemiel, a habitual bungler. They go together:

A schlemiel is one who always spills his soup, schlimazel is the one on
whom it always lands.

A schlimazel's toast always falls butter-side down. A schlemiel always
butters his toast on both sides."

As for hasenpfeffer, that is a German word.
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/hasenpfeffer

"A highly seasoned stew of marinated rabbit meat"

They must have a replacement singer... or are they going to try the no singer thing?

#667 Re: The Garden » Misunderstood Lyrics » 918 weeks ago

I went to a concert in high school and a band was singing some classic Brownsville Station.  They thought the name of the song was "Smokey and the Boys Rule"  (Smokin' in the Boys Room).  Needless to say, we had a good chuckle about it.

If the situation reversed and GNR was reuniting, do you think that Scott would handle it this way?

The timing is off on this forum, but I'm assuming JB got that prediction in before game time. However, you didn't enter an MVP prediction for a tiebreaker.

I locked seconds after the coin toss, so JB got the prediction in under the wire.
