I'm sure there are some crazy stories of how some of these leaks were obtained from hoarders. Perhaps a story along the lines of Walter Sobchak in the big Lebowski, where his plan was to fill the ransom bag with pairs of underwear rather than actual money LOL.
It's much more boring. The initial ones luck out by finding stuff (swiping a cd that Axl leaves behind at a strip club for example, or happening to have a friend who works at a record label) and others just buy in.

Agreed, or even just 320kbps

First solo to me has that trademark Finck dissonant sound. The end has that weird bucket style where it sounds like robot malfunctioning

Pretty cool tune...any idea what year this is from? Kinda sounds like bumble on guitar, but cant really tell
It’s reckoned the first solo is Finck and the lead work at the end is Bucket.
The pieced together working theory is it’s from 2000. All those old demos that we labelled as 99 (IRS, TWAT, Catcher) also may have actually been 2000 from The Village sessions. Or at least that’s the mixing dates, individual parts of these songs could have been recorded way earlier.

Guys if you're all still on this site because you like the band, check the GNR section. A new song dropped.

Any thoughts on the DNC fundraising in Mexico? I thought foreign involvement in our elections was the greatest threat facing our democracy? Granted, Clinton paid more to Russia for the Steele Dossier than the 100k Russia spent on Facebook ads of Jesus standing next to Trump. But the optics of this don’t look good.

A bit more of a clip of Checkmate (that is already on YouTube), but apparently the song is now called Hard School, and sounds kinda punky.
And then there’s the If The World full remix leak, which sounds as shit as you’d expect it to.
That is all.
actually, theres a full minute of a recording off a cellphone floating around
I don’t think that is legit, and if it is, you can’t make out fuck all of the song from it anyway
The minute leak of Atlas is someone (a trader I assume) playing the song and recording his speakers with a cellphone. It's legit Atlas, about 1min 15secs long.

just posted pictures of both of my hands in the discord
Is true, we used science to compare. 100% different hands. Great mystery solved.
