The school shooting explanation Axl gave made sense to me.

I do play a bit of jazz too, but I'm not big on soloing.

I played Alto sax in middle school. 16

Haha, that's pretty funny. Did you come up with that yourself?

No, it's just a pic that I see on various funny pic threads.  I think it's hilarious though.

Kanye West: Heartless. Yeah, I said it.

Nothing wrong with Kanye.  He might be a major douche but he can write a good song, that's for sure.

You guys need to stop arguing about this.  Didn't you know that Paul hummed all the guitar parts to Izzy and Slash?  I thought this was common knowledge.

Izzy and Slash had in my opinion the greatest interaction between a lead and rhythm guitarist.  Go listen to the beginning of Locomotive one speaker at a time, then go listen to any VR song.  If you don't think Izzy played a key role, you're wrong.  He may not have played the only role, but he was as key as anyone in getting the AFD sound that made GnR famous.  The guitars played off each other - in many instances not playing the same riff, but playing similar riffs that compliment each other.

I love Slash, but give Izzy his due.  Slash has never been able to have that same relationship with a rhythm guitarist - Gilby was close, but he was replicating Izzy's role.

Yeah, it was like their own version of 'the ancient art of weaving.'

Now Slash just plays straightforward rock which is nice, but gets old after awhile.

I always thought that the song was basically Axl saying that the album would never happen, just like there will never be democracy in China.
