Why would Walker give them anything?

Also, this. I sincerely hope Tyler Drama succeeds in getting that forum shut down. I am not friends with anyone that posts there, and only made an account here originally to say they were liars.

that 30 second clip they pasted together is fake as well. First 15 seconds are from the proof clip sent to mygnr years ago and is from the first verse. Second 15 seconds i'd posted on my soundcloud in 2014, but comes from a totally different part of the song. That's why it sounds so weird. But if they really had the song, they would know that.

if gunsnfnroses has silkworms, they shouldn't mind posting what is going on between 0:48 and :055 in the song. What lyrics are being sung?

just watched that trailer... yikes

on another note, slash doing a soundtrack would actually be really interesting

maybe that's what him and the ax man could collab on?

I could send you the OST. It's really nothing special, the only track of note is the song with Myles singing. The rest of it sounds like generic horror film stuff. It sounds to me like slash put more effort into the film than the ost, which is no big deal, but i wouldnt go out of my way to buy the soundtrack.

now axl working on one would be cool as fuck!!! id give my left nut to hear daddy can the devil do mommy and me

As a video? Are we talking about the 2010 proshot stuff for the doco that never surfaced?

Also while I'm pestering you - can you provide any other information about the TIL remix.

TIL is one of my favourite songs, and I was blown away by the snippet of the remix how the vocal track was a different take and more raspy in that section. What is the rest of it like?

Thanks smile

I have no idea if it was recorded for the 2010 doc. I believe the 2010 concert video and the 2009 rehearsal video are just random videos that happened to float out. What people need to remember about the 2010 show is that it wasn't filmed for a dvd. The proshot is soundboard audio and professionally filmed video, but its the video feed for the screens. No audience shots, and a lot of cam time for Axl (not that that's a problem!) Gibbo has accused me of lying and it actually being an audience recording, but any person with a working set of eyes and ears can tell that it is not.

The 2009 rehearsal dvd is 3 hours long, and is a single camera behind Axl's chair, and is hooked up to the soundboard. Amazing audio quality, but not a lot of detail in the video. It's trained to capture the entire stage. It's a full dress rehearsal though, with pyro, screens, etc etc. the band warms up by playing Catcher and Madagascar (Maddy played twice), and then the stage goes dark and the set starts. Chinese, Scraped, Jungle, Easy, Brownstone etc. 13 Chinese songs are played. This I Love is played twice, once with bits of Axl singing.

As for the 2010 mix, it's pretty much just piano/harp/drums/axl. no guitars at all anywhere in the song, so to replace that axl has a lot more vocal fills, a lot of the ooooooh's and what not. very beautiful remix imo.

The 2001 Blues is the earliest studio version of the song.

Does it sound like this?

The Blues 4:44
- cuts in - strings under piano intro - no acoustic guitar during intro - 2001/2002-era guitar lick + drums and guitars - echo or whisper/people talking during first vocals, later cleaned up (noticeable edit maybe in word “saved”?) - Pitman’s synth/sub-bass more present during verses (electronic-type feel) - guitar lick + guitar note held during “I don’t know what else I should do” - drums/cymbals during “Everywhere I go I see you . . .” etc - background “woooeeeeoooo” synth bit at 1:58 (heard on 2001-2002 live versions) - rhythm guitar during solo different, most noticeable starting at 2:24 - cymbals during last verse - lead guitar bit at 3:20 - no acoustic guitar during piano breakdown at 3:30 - no Buckethead solo during outro (earlier version than 2002 Radio Promo) - vocals clearer on outro - Tommy’s bass has been louder whole time, really noticeable bass walk-down around 4:08 - only “ahs” at end - ending fadeout faster/different
