It’s time for “Bono has entered the chat”.
Knowing him he has probably been in Vegas for a month attending every U2 show at the Sphere talking about how lazy Axl is.
Sounds about right. Those U2 Sphere shows look like they’ve been amazing.
It’d be cool if GN’R played there, but given how lame GN’R’s stage show production has gotten the last few years, I doubt they’d make the best use of a place like that.

Any other brands just drop their new single from the set without replacing it with another new song?

They need a meme album title, a red-blooded lead rock single, and a single that strippers can dance to.
If they do something pretentious like 72 Seasons or some lame try hard bullshit like a self-titled album, I'm officially burying them.
72 Seasons pretentious…? That’s a much better album than Metallica deserve to be putting out this late in their career. It’s fantastic!
GN’R could only to hope to put something out as solid or as good as this.
72 Seasons plays to Metallica’s strengths. And that’s EXACTLY what GN’R should be doing instead of Chinese leftovers.

Because she's a singer...and she's in the band.
I'd also like to see her be allowed to write something for them but we all know they're unlikely to work on anything from scratch.
You must really hate bands with multiple singers.
We’re not talking about that though. She’s already singing backing vocals which is fine.
But you guys are saying she should trade vocal lines with Axl, and that I don’t agree with. Keep Axl up front. Even Duff’s singing is kept to a minimum.
As for her bringing songwriting, why would you want that when you have Axl, Slash and Duff writing songs LOL

I still LOL at all of you wanting to hear Melissa singing instead of Axl.
Even a full blown Mickey Mouse Axl is better than having Melissa singing.
Axl is the voice of GN’R. Not Melissa Reese
She isn't properly utilized in the band...as Claude pointed out, she could easily help him out with vocals.
That’s kinda my point, why do you all want to hear her singing so much?
I doubt she can pull out raspy vocals any more than Axl can these days.
I don’t want to hear her trading lines with him. I’d rather Axl is out breath and Mickey than going down that route

I’m glad it’s doing well I guess. But the song is still a mess. I listened to it like 5-6 times on repeat driving to get lunch on Friday. And the more I listened to it, the more angry I got about how half assed the song is. One verse and one chorus just repeated, a boring uninspired Slash solo (with bits of Finck’s original parts kept in underneath), and a terrible mix. It’s just fucken amateur hour really.
If they were gonna give a big push and effort to a decent Chinese leftover, they should’ve done it with Hardskool.
