#61 Guns N' Roses » Help needed: UYI cover art or painting in high res » 197 weeks ago

Folks, need help!
Just moved to a new apartment and wanted to have a painting hanging on the wall with UYI cover art. Preferably Volume 1, the original art.
However, I live in Brazil and there's no way to find it here for sell.
So I want to have the original art in high res and print it then frame it.
Do any of you have it or know how I can get it?
Either the album cover or the original Mark Kostabi painting is great for my purpose.
Thank you!

Just finally watched Love and Mercy, film based on Brian Wilson's life with the Beach Boys in the 60's through the 90's.
Quite impressive and detailed, wonder what it would be if we ever get something like this regarding Axl's rise and lost years.

The ISRC is generally found on streaming sites, or song directory sites. It doesn't conclusively mean anything, I think Better had a slightly earlier reference to the rest of CD, but if the band have submitted a batch of songs, they can follow a sequence that matches the tracklist
That kinda suggests that at one point they envisaged Better being a single.
It might have something to do with Better being ready for the Harley Davidson ad.

Can't believe I've never heard this before. The only time in the new millennium he aces this song. The scream is incredible and in some parts I'd say he even surpasses the studio recording in power.
Any recommendations from 2010 are welcome.
I've been saying this since 2002: Axl's issue is not with his voice but with his physical condition.
If he stood more (not completely still) and quit running on stage we'd getter better vocals live.
2016 on the chair is a good example, both on GNR and in ACDC.

Maybe because it's the first time being played, band felt like no energy at all...
Chorus needs to be sang back and forth between Axl and Duff+Melissa, otherwise Axl won't handle it.
Besides this, it was a good performance.

The reason the physical version is months away is because the band sent them to press when the streaming release was confirmed
Reason for that?
Avoid leaks and (assumption on my part) the band (Axl) was tinkering with it to the last minute.

So do we know who is drumming yet ? My guess is Frank but I have heard speculation around it being sampled. To me, it’s unthinkable an officially released GN’R song would feature sampled drums. That said, it’s the weakest part of the arrangement for me.
It feels like Brain's but could be sampled from some of his other sessions and not specifically for this song.
Like they used the Eyes On You parts.

MAYBE, just MAYBE, they're releasing the only songs that are ready - as in already recorded by Slash and Duff?
GNR has never been a productive band in the studio, it's always been erratic...

What I find is laughable is the marketing behind this...
There's no anticipation, no momentum building, nothing...
They could've released small bits, especially the different parts compared to the demo, and get the fanbase and general audiences excited, creating some buzz.
Instead, it's just a silent release with nothing exciting to it.

Its a grower . Trying not to compare it to the leak.
heard it and liked it.. one thing Axl had right is that once you hear a leak, you become attached to it.
it's a very different arrangement, need to listen more now.
